Hi there! Does anyone know of a "reasonable" way to travel from San Diego to Vancouver? I know it sounds easy, but I have an empty bottle of aspirin that says otherwise. It looks like the default method is a one way ticket, at $318 per person (there's 8 of us!). But last week I found a flight from SAN to SEA for $100, plus a "thruway bus to the train" whatever that means, for $25. Now that option is $183, or $120 for a 7 hour flight to Bellingham with a layover! The family would love to take the train and see the Pacific Northwest if possible, but I feel overwhelmed here. We also don't mind driving to Long Beach Airport or LAX and just paying the outrageous parking costs, if that will be easier. I went to
AAA for help and they laughed at me and played pin the tail on the tourist! Any suggestions will be greatly rewarded with lots of FE's!!!!!
Thank you very much, Dave
*Comedy example:
Flight 693 on Alaska Air: $183 from San to SEA nonstop; $120 from San to Bellingham with a 2 hour layover in SEA. Seriously?????
