Okay...I'll play. How do you know when you reach a 1000 posts and what happens?

I figured out the number, the last one was #940 and this one will be #941. But still the question what happens when you reach 1000? I could post 59 replies right now. I am working midnights on switchboard at a small hospital and the calls are few and far inbetween.

Just the satisfaction of knowing we hit a thousand. And crowing rights. LOL

Up early....lots to do before we leave!!! Tried to finish packing last night. Who am I kidding.... tried to start packing.
The list is getting shorter.. so there is hope yet!
Weather forecast in Barcelona looks good. highs in the low 80's lows in the high 60's.

Early ports look a little warm.

I haven't even started today and that was my excuse for not attending the tournament. Oh well. gotta to get my baby washed - motorbaby not the furr kids. Its actually BLACK from the dirt. Maybe it will function better when its all nice and clean.

I haven't even moved the suitcase from the office to the bedroom although I keep moving the piles of clothes each day - off the floor, onto the bed, off the bed onto the floor. Some day VERY soon, I will eventually get to packing.

Darn warm weather. It's throwing a crimp into my packing. More capris and shorts. SIGH.

I haven't packed a single thing. I have made a list of things that we need to take and put the passports and money in an envelope. I will pack on Saturday and fly on Monday, LOL!

I have too many deadlines at work to pack yet. I have a spare bedroom that I have been using as a staging room for about 2 months now. When I got back from a business trip the other night, I came home to find that my husband turned the dining room table into his clothes staging area. I had planned on leaving most of next week for errands, last minute details, and packing, but my clients have now hijacked me for at least three days. I will probably pack until the wee hours of the morning Sunday like I do every trip we take. At least our plane doesn't leave until the afternoon. I can't wait to escape from work!!!!

I am getting conflicting information from DCL, about what time we can disembark on Saturday.
Does anyone else have a early flight from Barcelona on the 18th?
DCL says don't book a return flight before 12:30. And they also told me that we should get cleared at the port 7:00am.

Careful someone will snipe your #1000 post!!!!!

I too haven't packed a thing! I did however get my magnets printed out today and I just got back from Macy's (got 1 sweater & 3 pairs shoes for the trip). I somehow always pack around midnight before I leave. But I don't think it will be too bad. I plan to pack next weekend.

Tomorrow, my goal is a hair cut.

We've checked with Disney several times, and they cover themselves by saying 12:30. We purposefully booked Disney transportation (despite the cost) because Disney will do online check in for you and take care of your luggage. I've been researching the posts, and everyone says that you are fine if you get off the boat early before the rush. We didn't want to chance a taxi since we figured Disney would make sure they took care of us. Disney also puts you on the bus based on your flight time making sure the people with the earliest flights get on the buses first. I hope this helps.

This sounds like the flight I took in 2007 (Delta BCN-JFK). Not a problem at all. Just make sure you tell Guest Services your flight info on the ship and you will be the 1st group of people left off once they clear customs. I also took Disney transport and it worked out fine.

Thanks for putting in the part about Guest Services since I forgot. I also forgot to put the part that Disney didn't express that there would be any problem with getting us to the airport in time just as long as we notified Guest Services when we got on the ship and the night before we got off. Disney will also leave you something the night before about the online check in.

Not packing but working and keeping my eye on the posts to keep my sanity. How is everyone who is staying in Barcelona going to sightsee? We're thinking about the hop on hop off bus. Apparently there is a new company so there is choice of bus companies-? Anyone else doing the HOHO or have comments good or bad about either company?

How about the HOHO in Malta?
