Yes, dear, our son Patrick is an adult! Although to be perfectly honest....ask anybody.....no one in our family has "grown up" really! We just like to have fun!

In any case, looking back over my planning, there's nothing that totally screams "small children" in what I'm doing, so I don't think I would have completely offended him (then again, I may be stealing some of the kids' candy/toys if it's cool!) but it's good to know. I'll update the list so I'm the only one who's confused!

Since this is actually my very first FE, I'm totally looking forward to doing all of the stuff, I'm decently crafty so am going to make some things, I'm just excited to give it all away and hope everyone loves it!

HI..sorry it took me so long to respond. I had shoulder surgery last week and was out of it for awhile. The good news is that I get to be home from work for the next few weeks and can spend the time planning for our cruise. So...Megan's favorite color is pink...of course. Jacob said that his favorite color is now black (it used to be blue, but he will be 13 soon, so maybe black is the new "cool" color). You seem so organized and on top of things. I am now inspired to start on my FE gifts....well maybe next week.

Thanks for the well wishes. Yes they did give me something pretty good...Percocet! I am not used to taking such strong pain meds though. It has really messed with my sleep, which is why I am up at 3:00 a.m right now on the DisBoards. Have you heard any info as to when we will get our rooms assigned? We are still in gty status. I will let you know our room # for the FE exchange once we get it. We just got our flight info from DCL 2 days ago, so I was happy about that finally. We leave LA on 9-7 at 6:15 a.m. and arrive in BCN on 9-8 at 8:55 a.m. We then plan to do a 4 hour tour of Barcelona through Barcelona Day Tours before we get on the ship. It sounds crazy, but hopefully we will get some good sleep on the plane so our jet lag won't be too bad. Well, I guess I will try to get some sleep. Have a nice weekend!

Ok, under 60 days till the cruise and 57 days till vacation! I am now checking daily to see if I have a cabin assigned. Anyone else who is GTY get an assignment yet?

Now that excursions are all booked, i am trying to plan out our Barcelona leg. We will be flying in on Monday th 6th, so we basically have 1 1/2 days in Barcelona to fill. Any suggestions on what to do in Barcelona?

We arrive the morning of the 7th and we're staying at the hilton diagonal mar. We booked the 4pm bike tour of Barcelona with Fat Tire. We heard about them on the boards a while ago and came across them again on a google search. They also have an 11am tour. I think it came to about $35 per person.

We are flying on Continental out of Newark, too. We leave Newark at 7:20pm and arrive in Barcelona at 9:15am

My husband organized a driver through Barcelona-Airport Transfer.com.
