9:00 PM FP availability with 9:30 AK closing in late Aug

I was tweaking some of my AK evening fastpasses for Aug. 25 this am and noticed that there were 9:00 pm return times available. I never remember seeing this late when I originally boooked my fastpasses. AK is still scheduled to close at 9:30.

Is this a glitch or could it be an indication that AK hours may be extended after Aug 19?

I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

The last FPs of the day usually have a half hour return window - I booked one for TT at Epcot

It's officially slow season so I'm not holding my breath for longer hours.

Yes. This. I got a couple of fastpasses on my last trip that had a 30 minute window since they were at the end of the night.

Not sure that it means or doesn't mean anything. I can get a 9:30 MK fast pass for tonight (park closes at 10) but the window on the site is 9:30-10. Looks like FP+ are currently available 30 minutes prior to close but with a reduced return window. The fast pass gurus will have a better idea of how that actually functions but Im assuming it means as long at you tap the tapstile but 10:05 or something you are good.

Yup. We have frequently had FPs with 30min windows at park closing.

From the FP FAQ:

- FP return windows for some rides and character M&Gs can be less than 60 minutes long, but only in the last hour that FPs are offered (the last hour of park operation not including EMH or hard-ticket events).
