I have an 8mm video cassette that the tape broke. One end is inside the cassette and the other is outside. I was wondering if there is anyway to get the end that is inside the cassette out and if it could be spliced. It has our July trip to WDW on it.:(

Yes, I've had that happen.

I took the tape to a professional photo developing place called Konica. The opened the cassette and spliced it back together.

Only cost a few bucks too.

Good luck!

Delswife - wow! thanks I have the same problem and thought the tape was destroyed forever. It happens to be my son, minutes after his birth too.

Good luck with yours buzzlady :D

I had this happen to a VHS tape and it happened at the very beginning so I just took it apart and respliced it...

Good Luck..:D

Thanks. Now that I know there is hope, I will look for someplace to take it to be fixed.:Pinkbounc
