Some friends have an 8am reservation at BOG on a day when the park officially opens at 8am. Will they be permitted back to Fantasyland BEFORE 8am so they're ahead of the mad rush? Do they check in to the left of Cinderella's Castle? Thanks for any insights! I've only done a pre-park opening reservation at Be Our Guest, so I wasn't entirely sure of the procedure. Thanks!

I have also only had a PPO reservation, but id imagine it's the same for an 8 am reservation. The park would let them in prior to their time of 8 am and scan magic bands along the way if needed for access to unopened areas of the park. Maybe someone else can confirm, but I think they will let you in 15 mins or so before your reservation to allow time to make it to your destination.

Thank you! When they arrive at the front gate, do they just enter the park with the general crowds, or is there still a separate entrance to the far left for morning dining reservations?

Found this on the Disney Moms Panel...
When you arrive at Magic Kingdom, you will find a special check-in area for those who have early reservations. It's usually to the left after you go through security, but ask any cast member if you don't see the sign right away. They will check your reservation and allow you into the park in plenty of time to reach Be Our Guest by 8 a.m.

I would plan to be at the entrance no later than 7:15- 7:30 a.m. to give yourself time to stop for a few photos along the way without other guests in the background. (It should take about 10 minutes to walk from the entrance to the restaurant in Fantasyland.)

Generally speaking, no. If the reservation is at or after park opening, you’ll get in with everyone else. There will be not pre-park-opening reservations that day, so there won’t be anyone around to let them in early. They usually drop the rope a few minutes early anyway, so they’ll still be able to get there on time.

But they’re wasting the best touring hour eating breakfast, which isn’t the best idea for most folks.
