I found them!!!! I called the local Kroger near me last night & this wonderful young man :worship: who works there said he had them & would put them in an envelope for me so I could pick the up today. I asked him to be sure they were the theme park cards & not the gift cards & he said yep..they have Siderman on them & are $89.99!!!! I'm sooo happy! I'm getting 8... Now I just have to wait till Dec to use them, such a long ways off

Yay for you---that's awesome!!!:cool1: I figured there'd be some left, just a matter of where to look. And how nice of that guy to do that for you. I just don't think a lot of peeps know about these cards, (I wouldn't have if it weren't for the Dis), and not sure how many of the general public get on these/this forum to even find out all of the wonderful tips. December will be here before ya know it! :goodvibes

I hold them in my hand...ya think it was gold :rotfl2: There were at least 20 more on the rack & I asked if I could take some extra without having them activated but the girl said no they couldn't leave the store...:confused3 I told her they had no value till they were activated (as stated on the card itself) but she insisted it was like stealing...well ok then.
326 more days till our vacation :)

Do you mind saying what part of Ga you are in? I tried to find them at the 2 krogers within driving distance and they are out.

Thanks

I live in Walton County (about 45mins. SE of Atlanta) & there are about 4 Kroger's around me. farthest is about 30 mins out. I would also ask since sometimes they don't put all them out on the rack due to limited space. I decided to locate all the Kroger stores within a 25 mile radius & then began making phone calls late in the evening when I knew it would be slow. Start on their website & go to store locator like I did. Good luck!

If you pass through the sensors with an unactivated card it permanently deactivates it. Try later to bring it back in and get it activated it won't work, that's what they told us when we asked the same question weeks ago. Someone else suggested that you take a handful of cards and place them behind a different brand of gift cards so nobody will notice them but they will still be in the store.

They still have some at the Kroger near me: North Druid Hills Road inside 285. (North east Atlanta)

I checked at the Krogers near me today, where I bought them two weeks ago, and there are none left. We are heading back up to Canada in a few days and might check along the way to see if we can pick up a few more.

I'll post any locations that I find that have them.

please stop posting about which one has the passes and let people found out for themselves. :confused3

I don't think there's anything wrong with that. That's the main purpose of this board, that is to help each other out by sharing good infos. IMO.

If there were any in my area of NC, I would have been glad for someone to post. I went to 10 Krogers--every one within an hour of my house and never even saw a place for them. Thank goodness Purseval took pity on me and was able to pick some up in his area before they were gone!

I love the Dis for being there to tell me things I don't know. Last year, I entered two contests for free Universal tickets after reading about them here, and I won two 7 day tickets.:goodvibes

Nice!! Lucky you!:yay:

Awesome!

I know what you mean about the wait, we aren't going until Oct and the passes are burning a hole in my pocket.:rotfl2:

-I found out about the Kroger passes here on Dis boards and am very thankful!! I was able to pick up 3 passes at our local Kroger last Saturday (we're in east Tenn).

I went to five Krogers in our area last night and couldn't find them anywhere. I am losing faith in KY Krogers!

I had already booked a Universal ticket & hotel package at Doubletree Universal when I read this thread. I added it up & would save $50 on my package price to book the 3 for 5 deal, then take off the tickets & go to Kroger for my tickets. I went to our local Kroger before I changed my reservation to make sure they were still available. They had bunches of these tickets so I purchased 3, then I called to cancel the ticket portion of my package, the agent said that she couldn't remove the tickets from the package and if she could the price would go up for the hotel only. I told her that I just removed the tickets online, she tried to cancel the reservation then rebook it & still was unable to remove the tickets so she told me to do it myself online, then call back & cancel the original reservation, which is what I did. Whew...:faint:that was alot to go through to save $50, but it worked.

When I got back on the dis boards last week (it had been about 2 months since I really posted due to the holidays, WDW trip etc...) I was unaware the $99 tix were no longer available & I was so upset at myself for not hitting the submit button 3 weeks ago on the Universal website. Had I not read here about the deal Kroger had I would have never known to even look.

So thank you dis board members for informing me about the Kroger deal, infact, I ended up saving $80.00 (on my 8) because Kroger sells them for $89.99. I wanted so much to take some of the cards home & mail them to my fellow dis members but like I said earlier, I couldn't leave the store with them. As Purseval said below :(
