$89.00 Tor to Orlando Dec 31/10

Hi everyone, Air Canada has some flights posted for $89.00 to MCO if you want to fly out on New Years Eve.

A bit off-topic talking about flying on New Years Eve: two years ago we went to Brazil for Xmas (my wife and I are Brazilians, now also Canadians, living here for 10 years).

The only flight we could get back was on New Years Eve, leaving Brazil around 10:00 PM and arriving in YYZ at 6:00 AM on January 1st.

I was all excited about this flight, thinking to myself we would take an empty flight, people would be taken to executive class, they would have 1st class food for everyone on board, etc.

The flight was PACKED!!! Not a single empty seat (in economy section anyway), no special foods, drinks, movies, nothing.

At midnight, when I finally was able to take a nap, the pilot woke us up just to "remind"" us that it was now 2009.

I was thinking: seriosly dude, that's the best you guys can do?
Lesson learned: I have now ZERO desire about flying on New Years Eve.

We got flights in January $89.00 both ways!

I am planning a 2011 trip! My 1st thought was Nov. now I am thinking New Years???

Today AC has a flight from TO to MCO on Xmass for $89 as well.

The $89.00 fare becomes $171.00 when you add the pile of junk on top and there are no cheap return fares.

The Xmass flights are gone! Dec 31 still there. You could go Fri to Fri for 295.00 return all in. We are going Dec 28 to Jan 2 for that price as well.

We're having trouble getting cheap return flights as well. Coming home on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday completely sinks the budget.

Just looked at Dec 31 with AC..return Jan 5. I can't book--too many booked already but pretty darn good flight $$ for 2!
