I think they are closing this restaurant over the summer.

Whew! Good thing everyone passed on that one. They also passed on The Brown Derby. They did agree to cancel lunch @ LeCell and book dinner @ Kona Cafe instead. Mmmmmm.... Lapu's!

Anyone want my LeCell ressie?? It's for the 28th for 6 ppl for lunch.

I'm thinking of ditching FD and changing our dates to 8/16-8/24. Our AP's expire 8/18, so we could do WDW for 3 days then do Universal/Sea World for 4 days with a rest day in between. We still wouldn't be able to attend weinerfest, but we could meet up with folks outside the parks.

We'll make it work s'latey! And, BTW, I loooove Sea World in the summer. Compared to WDW, it's so much less crowded and has lots of wide, open spaces that catch the breeze better. COuple that with lots of water and I swear it's always 5 degrees cooler than any WDW park.

I agree, but I am doing a lot of character meals for Kelly, as I don't want to stand in lines in the Hot as Hades heat of August.

Good point. I have to say, I prefer TS meals in summer over winter just as an escape form the heat. SOmehow it "feels cooler" to have someone serve me.

Been busy with my mom - having a nice time, but no DIS time.

Anyway, so, Free Dining. I'm new to this.

I am leaving the 25th, hopefully in the late afternoon.

What, if anything, do I need to do? I was going to do MK on the 24th (still will most likely - right, the free diners won't get in until the 24th sometime?) and play it by ear before the flight on the 25th, depending on what time I get.

Janet, I'm still good with the CP morning, unless y'all think MK is a bad choice then, that day. But, if it is, I need to rearrange all my plans, because I only have 4 full days and 2 half-days to work with, and MK is our favorite, and that's my only full day there right now.

HELP!!!

V, I'm still in for TL, too. The boys really wanted to try a water park last year, and I can't wait to meet you!

CE...we are going to keep that day as an MK day, as we have 2 other full MK days planned. Our thought is going to be the same. Hit MK for 8:05 breakfast, hit some rides and then head out in the afternoon for pool, etc. That is an evening EMH for MK that day too, but I don't think we will hit that. Then again, if there is no P & P Party, we may as that is the only night touring we may get to do. THe next day is a rest day for us, so wither way we should be good!

I still think MK is a safe bet on 8/24 - you're right, the free diners will only just be arriving, so the morning especially is in your favor!

Y'know, try as we might, we just can't seem to stay away from those darned Lapu Lapus! Consider me IN!! We have Capn Jacks planned, but was already thinking of skipping that. I'm all over a Lapu at the Tambu! Leo and I can always grab something to eat at Capt. Cooks... mmmm, I'm salivating just thinking of the Grown-Up Grilled Cheese.
