Ok so if you book a resort now and a promotional code on room rates comes out later, can you call and have them apply the code to your already booked ressie or do they you have to do a completely new ressie with that code?

I was checking to see if FL rates were out for August, but they're not.


Oooh! Lessa I forgot all about possibility of a Pin! I so have to remember to ask.

I am about 90% sure that you can apply any codes to an already made ressie! So we need to get off our butts and pick a resort and then we are alllll good!

Okay well I think I am going to book a room at Pop, the room decor appeals to me more than ASMO. Maybe when I call they will have a code attached to my name and then I might upgrade!

Well I just booked Pop for 8/20-8/25! Room only so I cancel it easily if I have to since the trip is not a 100% sure thing yet. Also booked room only so I could get the 20% off with AAA.

We're gonna be neighbors For 5 days anyway

I'm kinda scared to venture onto the disneyworld website. I have that Disney itch starting and my friend and I have been talking about a day trip back to our Happy Place before all the Spring Break mania starts. I wanna actually see Disney during a not too busy time.

So, we're going in October with Buzz instead. Instead of the Focker DIS-meet, we've got the Ip-Dip Fry Daddy Dude Fest going... I hope you guys have a great time and maybe some day I can make it down to meet all of you.

Yes and no - you usually can't apply the code, but have to cancel the existing ressie and book anew. Depedning on availability with the code, you may have to choose a different resort/room type/etc.

This is definitely true of AP and FL rates. Historically, I've always been able to get AP/FL resident rates for the end of Aug., no problem. They weren't released until late June last year, so we've got some time.

Really?! Wow!

I know our power went out a few minutes ago and the radio stations are asking people to call in to see where the outages are, but didn't know it extended from there.

My internet connection is acting wonky too.

I was told at 7 this morning that they were having "system enhancements" and they'd be down for an hour. I called back in an hour, and the system was still enhancing itself and still an hour after that...and so on. I was just able to book regular dining, but the GG stuff is not up and running yet.

Oh, I'm willing to bet the "enhancements" involved the turning off and back on of many computers. Just saw that some of the blackouts were in the Tampa Bay area - and a lot of Dining calls wind up over here.
