Okay people. Since I have nothing really to contribute to this thread and all this talk is depressing for me I was trying to figure out a way to perk myself up and I finally decided how to do that.

Last year when I started the DISers stalking DISer thread we had over 10 people going down to WDW at around the same time. I made up a separate post with daily itineraries showing who doing what each day. This included which park, any ADRs, special plans (ie Illuminations), and what not. I loved organizing it all and everyone liked it because they were able to print it out before they left and had a nice little reference on who would be where in case any stalking was happening.

So, I would like to do that for all of you, if you'll let me. I know it's way early to start but I'm good at editing etc. So, what do you all think?

I think this is a great idea DM, and it is very nice of you to offer.

OK, so I said again to D last night, "So where are we on WDW in August?" and he said, "Whatever you think."

Not so helpful, but...

T, I'm going to PM you if you could send that spreadsheet, please? I need to decide on DDP. I was all for it, but with everyone finding it's better OOP I'd better run some numbers. I'll run a couple of scenarios but probably will go ahead and book my ideal 5 nights with D at AKL. Then I know I can change it if D can't go but Dr. Belle can, or whatever. (The change there is that she has an AP, so no package for her, and she might be open to a Mod, where as we know D insists on AKL.)

Anyway, looks like I'm going to pull a trigger here on something soon. It may not be final, but when are any of our plans ever?

DM, I think it's super nice of you to offer your mad skillz! Hope no one's offended, but I'm going to keep my itinerary a bit closer to my sleeve from here on out. I can PM you guys to arrange meetings and stuff, but between Marisa's ealier comment about not providing too much info. and some things that recently happened to a friend involving chat boards and stalkers, I'm not comfortable putting all my details out there in cyber-space.

She basically warned about posting where you are going to be and when as she has heard about Dis meets being crashed by strange people and you never know who is reading. She posted it on the focker thread though not here.

I'm paraphrasing, but she cautioned not to share too many details about meeting palces, times, etc. as there's apparently been problems with doing that. She did say that was on the Community boards, which has a much larger readership than the TRS, but it still got me thinking... especially traveling with just Leo and me, do I want anyone who reads this to know where I'll be at any given time?

So, potential stalkers, if you've seen my itineraries thus far, know that it has ALL changed - there' sno point in even trying to find me - I'll be incognito!

That pretty much gives a good idea to everyone but it is general. If you browse through the itineraries and see you are at the same park the same day, you can then go on from there with PMs. Also, anyone can give more/less info if they choose. No specific times need to be posted.

And, of course, I do make it fancier ...

I really don't have that much of a problem with anyone knowing which park I'll be at as lots of us know from last August it's really hard to find someone in a park even when we're looking, right Z, Janet, T

Yes, we need to all implement Focker rule 113: Do not post any actual meet dates on any thread---particularly on TFW as she said the community boards are much more vulnerable. (and do not post your meet dates on your room window/door when there----one lady was stalked that way)

OMG, what happened.

She'd prefer I not say, but nothing horrific - just wound up with someone she really had no interest in being around showing up at her regular social event. The "stalker" wasn't easily dissuaded from following her around and showing up over and over.

We also plan on trying to go to Beaches and Cream after TL meet. I was going to make an ADR somewhere else just in case we couldn't get in, but we talked last night and just decided to do an EPCOT Counter Service if we can't get into Beaches & Cream.

Just a little tid bit about DDP, I have been using the DDE card as I had 3 trips planned for a 12 month period. Everytime I checked in for an ADR they asked if I was on the dining plan and I would say no, but I will be using the DDE card. They pretty much all said I was better off with that, that the changes to the DDP did not make it worth it.

I used the handy dandy spreadsheet that T sent me to figure out if the dining plan was fo rus or not. After crunching all the numbers The DDP would wind up costing us $1777 (Becasue we would have to buy at least a one day ticket to get it) OOP would cost us $1632.48.....Cost $144.52 more than if we pay out of pocket!

That $144 can be used for our WP day tickets!

We are in the same situation with the tickets. I'd have to hand over nearly $350 in one day tickets alone. Tack on the cost of dining. I can eat a whole lot cheaper than that.

So I was back on the phone with the grand gathering people trying to pin down dates for GG Experiences. I'm 6 days away from my 180 day point. They STILL don't have a schedule She thinks one will be available in the next week or so, but until then, my spreadsheet is suffering.
