In Washington where I'm from 85 is a nice medium temperature, so I was excited to see that would be our temperature all week in DL. It sure seemed a lot hotter than 85 to me! We were cooking. Someone said it was because of humidity. I guess I didn't realize it was humid in California.

yeah it shows that it was almost 50% humidity today...its not always humid in CA...just sometimes but this year has been moreso than others...weather says it felt like it was about 87º but temps were really like 83-84

It was hotter than 85 if you were there Wednesday or Tuesday. Those days the temps were high 90s-low 100s. We were setting records here in So. Cal. It's really not uncommon for us to have temps like this into October, but thankfully it's cooling down. I took the kids after school on Wednesday, mainly to see the 8ft Lego R2-D2 in Downtown Disney that we helped build on Friday. We took the monorail to the park, went on Nemo, then took the monorail back and went home. Just too hot for us! Hope you still had a great time!

Yuck, yuck, yuck. I hate hot weather. Accuweather shows Saturday the 4th as a high of 70 with showers possible. That's what I hope it's like when we are there, but I doubt it.

85 a nice medium temp? Omg! I'm dying at 85.

I sure don't act like a former Californian, do I? (took me a year to get used to Tacoma weather and I've never looked back!)

then again, if you're in the NE where it's chilly, 85 sounds nice....lol.

Wishing I had a DL trip to plan!!!!
xoxo

LOL! we are form the desert where our common weather is 112-118 so 85 is a nice break for us!

Yea, but it's a dry heat. ;)

It has been ugly hot this week!
I think I really would rather deal with triple digit, but dry, desert heat than with 20 degrees cooler, but muggy (like the nonsense of the past few days)

It's a LOT cooler here in San Diego today than it has been the rest of the week, and looks like it's only 66 in Anaheim right now (9:00 Friday morning). The forecast is for much cooler weather today through Sunday, and yes, chance of showers tomorrow afternoon/evening!

Yes, it humid, especially down South. Not so much up here in the North but it was humid yesterday. We had clouds a small amount of rain in the morning and the rest of the day it was sticky. 85 in Anaheim always feel hotter than 85 here at home.

We live in SE Wa state and we get 100 deg summers and have no problem with the heat, I also work in countries where the heat gets 120+ and you have dress appropriately but when I was in DC a few weeks back it averaged 96 degree's and 90 %+ relative humidity and darn near could not breath. I will take the dry heat any day of the week and especially at DLR.

This week has been WAY hotter than 85°, even though that's what my iGoogle weather had for the forecast just about every day this week. It's been in the 90°s or maybe even 100°, and HUMID which is not common around here. My forecast for tomorrow says 61° and a chance of rain, so I bet it will be in the 70°s, partly cloudy, and beautiful. Too bad we aren't going to DL until Dec - tomorrow would be great :)

If the weather channel says it's 85 in Anaheim....it'll feel closer to 95 in Disneyland. Disneyland always seems hotter than other places nearby. We lived about 5 miles from Disneyland. I'd be wearing jeans and a t-shirt at home and feel just fine but as soon as we'd walk down mainstreet, I'd be dying.

And in general, anything hotter than the lower 70's is just too hot for me.

hum it says highs between 81-86 while we are there. i will rember to add 5 or so on it

We were there last year in September during a heat wave. On one of the days it was up to 107. I am from Texas so I am no stranger to heat. Still, not quite what you are expecting when you think of Disneyland. Sure makes for some hot, grumpy, sweaty and smelly guests! On the up side, the crowds did seem to thin out when it got so hot. We just took in lots of water rides!

They need to put a big thermometer on mainstreet--because I swear when I check the weather online, it is like 15 degrees less than the actual disneyland temp.

Sorry it was so hot!

I am a native California and some of the hottest days I have spent are at Disneyland. Sometimes it can be very humid in Anaheim as well.
