I don't really know. I'm just guessing.

Ratatouille gets Animated Feature award. :thumbsup2
I didn't find a contest in that one...never heard of Persepolis but it looked a bit odd to me...

YAY! Ratatouille!!!

?, my roomate wants to know...is Julia Roberts going to be there?

So uhm...i hate the host.
Hes rude and annoying.

I want Ellen BACK.

Hey great thread. Thanks!

I'm watching now... i've been looking forward to this all month!

:)

I love the Academy Awards. It's a little holiday to me. xD
I'm trying to update this with every nomination but DIS just went really slow for me.

I've got the last part on tape and haven't watched yet because it was past the time I should have been asleep.

But just from the first half:

JON STEWART SAVES MY LIFE. I loves him.

i'd say i did pretty well with my picks.

HUGE surprises for best supporting actress & best actress!!!
good for them though!! too bad ellen page didn't win (gotta support the canadians!!!)

I liked the show...but it was strange to see ALOT of people there;
Miley Cyrus (WTH WAS SHE DOING THERE???) Jessica ALba?? Cameron Diaz! P DIddy & Gary Busey???? whaaat on EARTH were they doing at THE OSCARS??? lol

my boyfriend & girlfriend leo dicaprio & kate winslet were not in attendance which makes me sad.

And I gotta say...how cool is jack nicholson!!!! love him!

And it makes me LOL that norbit was nominated for an oscar!! hehehe

I LOOOOVE the oscars, and the whole awards season in general (which was kind of a bummer this year without the golden globes)

And I think the most beautiful woman there last night was for SURE Jennifer Garner, her makeup looked amazing and I personally liked her (kinda messy) hair!
