At my local Hobby Lobby (MD) yesterday, they had all their "harvest decor" items 80% off. Their "harvest" fabrics and paper plates and such were 50%.
I was able to get 4 freestanding scarecrows, two waist-high "parents", a hip high "daughter" and a knee high "daughter" to make a little family for for $21.34 total (orig. $106.96) Combined with our fake pumpkins we've had for years (that I turned around backwards so you can't see the carvings now) it makes a pretty little harvest-y yard decoration for next week and the Autumns-future.
Their fall garlands are included in the 80%, so I was able to get one that looked like fall leaves with a few pinecones and acorns, 6ft, nothing too fancy, but pretty, for $2.40... Wrapped around a candlelabra I already have, it looks beautiful for a centerpiece for Thanksgiving. They had some very fancy garlands (big gourds and sparkly widgets) for $9.98 (down from $49.99) but that is more going on than I was comfortable with, plus I was in sticker shock from just SEEING the original price...
The paper plates and napkins are 50% off, but since they were $5.99 and $4.99 respectively to start with, it's a good deal, but not a total steal like the garland was.
Anyway, if any of y'all are still prepping for Thanksgiving, like me, it might be worth checking out!
