Weather looks perfect for our trip next week. We leave on Saturday to spend a few days in San Diego first (SD Zoo, Legoland, whale watching on the plate)!

My hope is that 80 degrees in Anaheim doesn't feel like 80 degrees does in Florida, right?

80 is PERFECT for DL! You'll love it! Warm enough if you want to do water rides, cool enough that you don't have to do water rides. SO different from how it will felt when I was in FL. Welcome to SoCal- what's humidity? ;)

No way does it feel the same, dont worry - I was just checking the weather too, we are there on Sunday! Have fun :)P

We arrive on Friday and can't wait for the wonderful, sunny weather! It's going to be perfect.

How any temperature feels will depend on the humidity. On average it is not as humid as FL here, but it has been more humid than usual the past few summers. And it was unusually humid this past week with warm rain because the normal low pressure system that brings rain from the north has been pushing the rain up from Mexico. It's been in the high 70s and scattered showers. Very few times have I been standing in DLR on an 80+ degree day with 40% humidity and thought, "I'm not as uncomfortable as I was in Orlando or New Orleans." It's still not fun when that happens.

As far as crowds, Food & Wine seems to be drawing crowds. DLR is pretty much always crowded for at least part of most days. You're definitely not going to go for 2-3 days and not encounter crowds anymore.

The number you want to look at is the dew point temperature. The higher it is the more humid it feels. If the dew point is below 55F then you're good to go. Above 70F is a sauna. Dew points are rarely that high in Anaheim but regularly that high in Florida during the summer. Current dew point in Anaheim is 53F, so not bone dry, but rather pleasant.

How will the crowds be next week?
I'd imagine like this week, busier than normal but not awful. The food and wine festival brings more adults in so kid rides(monsters, Ariel, etc...) were empty this week in cal adv but more grown up rides (tower of terror, racers, etc...) Were pretty long.
Disneyland is pretty busy right now and it feels worse than it probably is because of the construction. Access from frontier land to fantasy land is closed and many rides are down for refurbishment.
