I LOVE THEM!

I work part-time at my LSS. We recently got these little scrapbooks in, so I decided to try one out (they also come in 12 x 12). They come with their own individual page spacers and are an excellent quality scrapbook.

My mother finally agreed to take a mother-daughter trip to Disney with me this February (notice countdown clock). She has never been to Disney before, and we have never taken a "girl's only" vacation (which I've wanted to every since my father died tragiacally almost 4 years ago). I was so EXCITED that I wanted to do something really special for her to mark the occassion.

I've gotten into the 8 x 8 sized theme albums recently and just ADORE them....expecially when using SEI papers or all coordinating papers. I plunked myself down and created this album for Mom in two days. It has 30 page protectors (which is 60 pages)...each album comes with 10 page protectors and I added two refill packs.

It is the CUTEST little Disney album you have ever seen (if I do say so myself)! :earseek: I chose a black cover and all the pages have coordinating red, yellow, black, and blue papers. I made the layouts fairly generic so that just about any photos could be mounted on them (ie: havin' a goofy time, remember: it all started with a mouse, destination disney....you get the idea). I cannot WAIT to give it to my mom :teeth: .

So, for any of you who might be interested in creating a different kind of Disney themed album....I highly recommend the Forever Yours 8 x 8. The pages are small enough that it takes no time at all to whip them up. ::yes::

FYI: I've also used the Mrs. Grossman's 8 x 8 and like them, but the Forever Yours, in my opinion is superior because of the page spacers which balance your spine and pages perfectly!

I love LOVE LOVE their 12x12 albums! I plan to only use them from now on! I think for the money you get an excellent album and expands great
I haven't tried the 8x8 but I really am thinking about it. I just hate to trim paper down...I need to make 2 teacher books by June...So this might be the way to go!

OK this is what I think I want. Can I buy them online anywhere? I will go look? Spinning where do you get yours? KSgirl, I have some friends that have done like 4 or 5 of these books recently. One of them did a scrapbooking scrapbook. She included all the crops she has been to, scrapbook stores and things like that. Mainly why she scrapbooks. It was so neat!

I found this site: http://www.foreveryoursbook.com/

but I don't know if I'm pasting it correctly (never done it before).....and my computer techie (aka: husband) has left for work.

Mommie2angels~I love the small size for a quick and fun scrapbook! In fact, I'm starting one today as a classroom auction item for my kids' school PTA. I've never thought of making a scrapping scrapbook, though! Good idea.
:)

I'm very interested in this size of album as well. I have asked a few of my LSS for this size and the only thing I could find is a Thomas Kincaid album. I'm wanting to create a wedding album for my father (from my wedding) and think this would be the perfect size.

I checked out the website, but couldn't find prices. Any idea what they normally charge? What would my LSS have to do to carry these (is it as simple as just ordering them??)??

My LSS sells the 8 x 8 Forever Yours albums for $21.99 and the refill packs for $7.99... a little more pricey than some, but superior in quality.

One of my friends used one of the Thomas Kincaid 8x8 albums that she found on clearance. You know the little square in front with the picture. She cut a piece of paper to fit it and embellished it. It's absolutely beautiful! Totally changed the look of the album.
