8 weeks til check in

Checking in on the 29th of July , I know hot hot hot, but this is the only time we can get away for an 11 night stay. Getting excited. We are taking the camper out in a couple of weeks for the seasonal shake down weekend trip, (didnt want to have the first trip of the season be an 1100 mile jaunt) things have been so busy we havent even been out since last year. So we are looking forward to that as well. Just thought I'd share....anyone else going down to the Fort at the end of July beginning of August?

It's always nice to know there will be others at FW in August! We'll be arriving on the 4th and staying for three weeks! One great perk of teaching is the time off. However, our economics only allow us a tent (the downside to teaching). Either way, three weeks in Disney beats three weeks in CT. The humidity is just as bad up here anyway! We'll be staying in the 1500 loop (we hope) and spending a lot of time at the campground and touring the different resorts. We'll probably see you down there!

I am with MickeyRPI and as he is I am so excited. We get to stay 3 weeks in Disney. The heat stinks, but it also gets you out of the tent and moving bright and early. If we want to nap we do so in the afternoon/evening when the sun is not so bad. I love it, just make sure to drink lots of water. I got sick last year from dehydration, because I had so much fun I forgot to drink . Hope to see you down there.

Hubby and I will also be checking in on July 29th and leaving on August 5th. Hopefully we'll see you. We will be in a pet loop in a pop-up.

Hi - we will overlap dates too
we will be at staying at Pop century July 20, 21 and 22 before checking in at FW on the 23rd. (9 nights there)
last year we were there the same weeks in July, but we drove our pop-up from NH. This year we are flying and staying in a cabin.

Like mickeyRPI said, it's just as hot here as is there...might as well be in our happy place

See you in the check-in line on the 29th! We will bringing our RV for its first big two-week long trip to the fort! We are going to be going to cedar point in Ohio in a couple weeks just to break it in a little. We've only done local over-nighters since we got it last june. We requested 300 loop for our golden retriever, HER first trip too!

We'll be checking in on the 30th!! No camper for us, just a tent with an a/c unit!

Checking in on the 29th as well! Staying between 4 - 5 weeks. We do this every summer and I look forward to it all year. Hopefully in the 1300 loop. Got moved last year from the 1600s to the 1300s because of maintenance and we liked it better.

We're also checking in on July 29th. Staying for 12 nights, same as every year. Getting excited! Requested 100 loop, have stayed there the last 2 years. Stayed in 1400 loop most years before that, but fell in love with the short walk to marina, Trails End, and Trading Post.

We are also checking in the 29 for 13 nights, and can't wait, we seem to do this every year and love it....

We will be at FW from the August 1- 11th. We have been four times before with our 22 ft citation. This year we bought a bigger 27 ft Jayco with bunks. It will be great not having to put the kitchen table up or down every night and morning.
Can't wait!

Yeah we have a 28' Jayco with the bunks in the back. Ours is an older one (1999). This is our first camper, we tented before but your'e right staying in a camper like this is like being in a 5 star hotel in comparison. Can't wait, just looked at the calender and we are now at the 50 day mark and counting.

Look for us in our 31 ft. Coachmen Leprechaun! I am probably going to put our magnetic disney bumper stickers on the back, gotta junk it up a bit, lol.
