Mine start back in 7 weeks and 4 days. But who's counting!

For the first time in years I am not counting the days yet until they get back to school. Why? Because that means I go back to work too! I am really having fun with the girls this year, we are getting to do things as a family that I could never do before when I was working weekends. We have a couple of trips planned for this summer , I'm going to enjoy them!
And no I do not look forward to the school sales....I hate shopping!

The ds last day of school was friday and I havent stopped running around yet. They havent given me a headache with not getting along with each other yet. But I have sure made alot of pitchers of ice tea and gatorade. When ds gets his lifeguard job schedule I will be running him to the 2 jobs every day plus taking the other 2 to swimming lessons on friday, my own work I do at night so I think I will be pretty exhausted by sept. when school starts.

My kids got out of school May 28 & have been fighting almost non-stop since June 7 (after our beach trip). We have no other kids in our neighborhood during the day so I try to plan little outtings for them but they are so bored with each other. School starts back Aug. 9 & yes, I'm looking a little forward to it, but will still miss DS during the day & sleeping late.

Actually I dislike back to schools, as much as the kids if not more. I hate getting up so early. My body is wired to to be a night owl, so sometimes I cant go to sleep til 12 or 1--then back up at 6.
Plus seems like I spend my whole moring driving kids to school and the whole afternoon picking them up. My oldest ds goes to a school 30 minutes from our house.
