does anyone know where to get the best rate for this vehicle
i have one with alamo for 633 inc. tax, for the week in may but it seems high
anyone ever rent this vehicle or know where i can get one cheaper
any codes etc.

the only minvan i know that fits 8 people is the toyota
i found only alamo to have it
i need the 8 pass

Check rates for National too, as National/Alamo share cars since they have the same parent company.

Keep a look out here for National codes as that is a very popular car rental here with at terminal service and the Emeral Aisle selection.

ETA - I'm not sure if you can split up, but if you have 2 licensed drivers, you could save quite a bit by renting 2 cars instead of 1 minivan.

The Honda Odyssey seats 8 (we have 2), but don't think the rental agencies carry the Ody. Look for a Chevy Express van that has 3 bench seats in back. As other poster stated it could be cheaper with 2 smaller vehicles.

I tried carls van rentals you can get the link from the orlando int airport site

I have an 8 pass for 432 includes taxes.

In the proper configuration, the Siena will seat eight as will the Odyssey. We have a Siena that only seats seven, however, so it can be a bit tricky.

The Chevy Uplander is not at all an ideal minivan for renting. In most older minivans, the second row is a bench-style and there is a lot of space between the seat and the door that we used to store luggage (since the space in the back is small). In the Uplander, the second row is 2 separate seats with a small space in the middle, not enough for anything but a small carryon.

On our last trip there were 4 adults plus a 2-year-old. My sister took us to the airport in my Odyssey and we had no problem fitting all 6 of us with our luggage. When we got the Uplander at the airport we almost couldn't fit just the five of us with the same amount of luggage. I'd never rent an Uplander again! (Unfortunately that was all the Budget had, so I was stuck!).

I'm assuming you want the 8-passenger van because you have 8 passengers, but unless you all have tiny luggage, I can't see fitting 8 people's luggage in the van along with the 8 passenger. So with the high price and the potential luggage issue, you might want to seriously consider 2 vehicles.
