8 Nights at BC-CL, Graduation Trip-Lots of Pics-Update 3/10-THE END

I hope you are all having a great weekend. It has been SUNNY here & low 50's so a great weekend here. Before I finish this TR I wanted to say I am really excited!! I checked into airfare for our Oct. trip & we had enough points through Southwest to book both flights with points to spare!!! So we leave nice & early on Fri Oct. 4th. We leave at 6:45 am and will arrive by 10:00 am & we leave FL at 1:30 pm on the 11th. I had no idea how many points we had. We got the credit card just for the points but they said we would have points for 1 flight so I figured one ticket & one way. So anyway let's finish this TR.

We left off walking the Boardwalk on our last night..

We went back to the room & got packed up. The next morning while we waited for the Unmagical Express I took pictures of the beautiful Beach Club

I hated saying goodbye to this wonderful resort. We just love it there & cannot wait to get back there in Oct.

This was our ride back home

So that was our trip. We had a great time as usual & it was the first stay at the BC for the boys. Cody really took advantage of the gym and we all took advantage of the wonderful upgrade to CL & enjoyed ALL it had to offer. I feel extremely lucky to have experienced it & will never forget it. Here are a few souvies that I bought during this trip

For my bathroom

For a girl at work (I also got 4 more for the other girls)

Love the pads of paper & have MANY on the side of my fridge & LOVE the body butter

Beach Club T shirt & magnet-In Oct. I will buy a sketch of the BC for my bathroom

ToT t shirt & sundress I bought at Poly

I kept forgetting to include the photopass pics we had taken so I will post some in the next post

Great ending and I LOVED your Illuminations pix they were VERY good!! As for the PP pix fantasmic !!!You got some great souvies !!! It is always sad to see the vacation end but knowing you will be back makes it bearable

Oh, Doreen, I am sorry to see your TR end, but it was delightful! All the photos are fabulous and I so enjoy seeing your family - these are real treasures.

I'm like Kathy and IllumiNations is not my favorite - usually skip it except once during a December trip. I'm a Wishes gal through and through. I used to love IllumiNations in the early days, but not being a fan of most changes at Disney parks, Wishes remains my fave. Have seen Fantasmic once and that was enough (Rosie, will go with you if you want to see on one of our trips!).

I just wanted to tell you, we realized our trip last year was during the same time as yours. We actually ate lunch at Les Chefs the very same day as you! We were at some of the parks on the same days, too. We looked for ourselves in the background of your pics but I never saw us.

Thanks Rosie. It is sad when the vacation ends & this one especially as it was our 3rd trip that year. We were very fortunate to go so often & I knew that it would be a while before we went back. (I know a year & half is not too bad but LONG enough). So I did get a little teary eyed on the bus back to the airport.

Thank you Christine!! Oh my I am always shocked when I hear someone say they skip Illuminations but like I said everyone has their certain favorites. I guess if we all had the same fav's then it would be too crowded. Luckily my boys like Illuminations the best also.

Oh my gosh that is so funny that we were there at the same time & ate at Chef's on the same day!! Don't you love it there?? We have always had a great meal there. So you didn't see yourselves in any pics huh?? That is great that we were there at the same time. Was it school vacation for you??

It was just regular vacation for us, not school vacation, although it was a birthday trip, so that is why we went that particular week. We have decided April is the best time of year to go; the weather was just perfect (aside from the occasional downpours).

We liked Chefs, but it was our first time there. We will probably go back again in the future, but it didn't make our "favorites" list.
