Hi, I leave next Sunday, Dec. 2, for Disney World. I have read that the following week is expected to be the least busy. Does that mean that my week is going to be REALLY crowded?:confused3

I really hope not. I have been planning this trip for 11 months!!:cool1:

I have had Tiffany's towncar service recommended highly by three people. I have never used a towncar before. I have already booked with FL. Tours because it is the one recommened by the DISBOARD and it is the official service of the Orlando airport.I am thinking of changing to Tiffany's though. Should I change? Tiffany's is cheaper.

Merry Christmas!:santa:

:goodvibes Have a great trip...

Can't help with the car issue, but as far as the crowds go...Plan for crowds since Christmas is one of the busiest times of the year, but it will not be anything like it will be come the week between Christmas & New Years!!! But regardless, your on vacation~ENJOY!!!

We leave in 14 days and I just can't wait!!! I hope you have a super trip.

Have you considered looking into renting a car. Alamo has great rates right now with some of the available codes and coupons. I paid $80 round trip for a towncar service back in 2002. This trip we're renting a full size car for 8 days for only $124.15 including taxes and fees with an additional driver. You can get a mid size for right around $100...worth looking into...

The first two weeks of Dec. are supposed to be the lightest in attendance. We went in 2003 and had no crowds. :cloud9:
You'll have a great time! :santa: Wonderful decorations.

I agree with Southernswthrt1 about renting a car. As for the crowd issue, I think that you're going at a good time. I've heard that the first couple of weeks in December are the best times to go to WDW. You don't have to deal with large crowds and you get to enjoy all the Disney Christmas decorations and special events. Have a wonderful time on your trip!! :)

I think you are going at a perfect time! we have gone around the first week of Dec. since 98 and have been there as late as the 13th. Except in 04 and 06, so unless something has changed drastically, don't worry. The crowds are at a min. so you get in get to see all the Christmas decorations without all the people:thumbsup2 . It really is my families favorite time to go, won't be there this year:sad1: there was no room at the inn so they say. But don't worry, thats b/c I'm a DVC member and it is a big time for them to use there pts. so I don't think this will effect you. You'll be coming in when everyone from Thanksgiving is going out and you'll be going out when everyone who is coming for Christmas is coming in.
As far as a town car. We use a service call Crown Limo. have used him for years and have been satisfied, never any problems. The past few trips we used ME, try to cut cost somehow, plus when they started ME and had all the commercials my DS wanted to go on that not the Limo, the Luggage wait is a hassle, so I try to get it on the bus with me. I never heard of Tiffany, but I like to keep a list and compare and they do seem to get good reviews on the board. Renting I would consider, but we don't leave property once there.
Have a great trip:santa:

Hey, LGH1946, sorry we'll miss you. We arrive 11/28, and leave on 12/02. But last time we were there during these weeks, the crowd level was absolutely perfect. You'll have a great time.

Now I'm a little nervous about using the ME. But we have 7 people in our party, and the cost of private transportation is just too high for our budget.

Leaving on Friday, Dec. 7 and staying at OKW. We always go at this time of
year and it's wonderful. Don't worry a bit! We're renting a car. We don't
always but we want to "resort-hop" to see all the wonderful decor. Enjoy!:goodvibes

I will just miss you at WDW. But I have heard that your week is the very best time to go! Maybe the crowds will be low for all of us going in December!!

We leave for WDW in 10 days. We are at WDW from 12/08 - 12/15. All I have heard about this time of year is how beautiful the decorations are and how light the crowds are. So no worries. :santa:

Except we will be at the VWL. Don't worry about the crowds it will be an awesome experience.:thumbsup2

I'm using a towncar service this time because last time with ME my luggage took about 4 or 5 hours and we sat on the bus for about 40 minutes. The towncar is just about the same as a taxi. If I weren't going to a park the first day I would use ME anyway. I know it is usually great for most folks. Everyone have a wonderful trip!!
