8 + infant - Best Hotel Room Option

8 people + an infant 2 nights at Universal in July. All family ages 13-50 and the baby. Have had 2 connecting 2 queen beds garden view reserved for several months at PBH with APH rate of $199. This week we decided that we needed to reserve a third room so we wouldn't be so crowded. I got a deluxe 2 queen bay view - cheapest available- with an APH rate of $269. It will be in a different part of the hotel. I will have to purchase 3 AP. I'm thinking now it would be cheaper to go with 3 king rooms - only thing available - at RPH for $269 per night seasonal rate. I hate to loose that $199 rate at PBH but I think I'm spending more by having to purchase all those APs. HELP!

If you are booking it for a family then many here have said they did not have to have an AP per room, they were able to show 1 AP for 2 rooms that connected.

You can still also request that the 3 rooms be together, since you are going in July they should not have assigned rooms yet
