We are all beside ourselves because it is 8 days till we go "back home" to WDW :cool1: So I am sending out a line to see how the crowds have been. :confused3 Should we expect long lines? We are DVC members and are staying at OKW :yay: and are just trying to plan out our days with what to hit first. Any DISers out there with thoughts on the crowds?

we just got back yesterday and spent 8 days there! it was fun but HOT!!! 96 degress a few of the days and the crowds were a bit heavy for the first few but then the parks were awesome! 10 minutes or less for most of the rides in Fantasyland as well as for the bigger rides too. HTH!!! Have fun :goodvibes

and 100% humidity!!! it got a lot better as the week went on though ~ sending you lots of pixie dust for you and yours :wizard:

96 degrees and 100% humidity?!? :scared1: Well that is Florida for you. It's all good at WDW right? :thumbsup2 Glad to hear about the short lines, and I am sure that the weather will work itself out. Glad that you are having a great time and wish we were there already! Thanks for the news!

We just got back last night. The crowds weren't too bad. We hardly had to wait in line at all and were able to walk straight throught to a lot of rides. (even some that had posted waits of 20 minutes were almost no wait) We did fastpass for TSM (which we rode 4 times in 2 days) and Soarin (rode 3 times in 2 days). TSM was our longest wait at 9pm after fantasmic. We decided to ride one last time and waited about 30 minutes. Kilamanjari (sp?) safari was also about a 30 minute or so wait. Other than that, we didn't wait much at all.
In the parks, it was rather crowded some days...especially MK and Epcot (but wait times still weren't long). The world showcase was VERY crowded due to Food and Wine. Hollywood studios was SO bare when we were there on Monday (a non-fantasmic day). We did rides over and over with no wait, and my son even got picked for the Jedi training that day. That was our favorite day in the parks.
We had 2 days that were in the mid 80's without much humidity, and those days were SO nice. The other 5 days reached the 90's with high humidity. Everyone was pouring sweat. The forecast for this next week (on the weather channel there) was in the 90's just about every day.
Anyway, it was really nice this past week....hope the crowds are low for you all!

Thanks so much for the update. :thumbsup2 The last time we went was at Spring Break so we know this time should be less crowded...we were also hoping for cooler. :cool2: Glad that you had a great time. :cool1: Fingers crossed for us! :yay: 7 days and counting!
