8 days of Disney dining

Today was our last day and I wanted to spend it at the Magic Kingdom. I got an ADR for Crystal Palace. I asked for the last breakfast seating of the day. We got 10:30 am. This is the best time to eat breakfast there. The place was about empty. We did not have to wait in line at the buffet at all. Dh loved the made to order omlete station and I love the breakfast lasagne. The kids enjoyed the cottage cheese, they had not had any all week. If you go to Crystal Palace for the characters this is the best time of the day to go. The charcters spent a lot of time at our table. The place was just about empty, and this was a Saturday, so the characters kept coming back to our table. Tigger was great he played with my boys for a long time. This was a great meal for our last day. The bll was $78.95 plus $14.21 tip, we used our last five table service credits. We had done crystal palace before. Before the park opens, but we realy enjoyed this time of the day.

We still had 4 counter service credits to use so we returned to POR after spending some time at Magic Kingdom. At the food court Dh got the buid your own pasta again, he must have really liked it. Ds11 got the cheese pizza again so I guess that was good. I got the roast beef and blue cheese cibiatta like sandwich with chips which was pretty good. Ds9 got chicken nuggets and fries. I payed out of pocket for Ds7 he got soup and cheetos. We had already used all of our snack credits.

We love the dining plan. It was plenty of food and we were able to stretch it over all 8 days. I had origanlly planned to pay out of pocket for Crystal Palace but didn't have to.
My only complaint with the dining plan was the kids meal options. It seemed that everywhere we went their choices were very limited that is why we ended up sharing so much. My boys would not have been happy eating pb and j all week. This is also why I scheduled so many buffets were they could choose what they wanted to eat, that and the baby ate for free.
For breakfast most days the boys ate nutrigrain bars, granola bars, or pop tarts. We did use the snack credits for breakfast one morning at Starring Rolls in Hollywood Studios.
We used a LOT of our snack credits for ice cream it was very hot, and thats what the boys wanted.
I wish they would put the price of the tip back in the dining plan it was so much nicer to not have to worry about it.
Let me know if you have any more specific questions, I will help if I can!

I really enjoyed your reviews, it sounds like you had a wonderful trip.

I have three boys! I'm going to add 1900 Park Fare to my ADR list for Jan/Feb- thanks for the reviews- it helped me make my decision.

Thanks for sharing your review with us, sounds like you had a fun trip and plenty of good food. You have convinced me to check out the egg rolls at AK, hopefully I can find something DH will eat-he will not eat asian food but I love it!
