Does that seem like a good price? I'm trying to talk DH into letting me surprise our two kids with a trip in October. We'd have free dining (upgrade to regular from QS), stay at Pop Century and go to MNSSHP.

Southwest is running a sale today which drops our flights down a little over $150 and I have some reward dollars to use up so by the time the trip rolls around, it should only cost around $2100.

I have an AP that expires Oct. 31st (I know I would have to buy a 2 day ticket for the FD)... I also have a TIW card that could help any extra added expenses...

Kids are only little for so long and I sooo want to go... I sound like I'm whining. lol... DH said if I do book it, he's not telling anyone out of sheer embarrassment that this would be my 4th trip in a year and a half. :confused3

What would you do?

well that breaks down to roughly $100 p person p day..depending on the ages of your kids do you think that is a deal? It is all relative. You have been very fortunate to go 3 times already in a short time span..I know kids are only young for so long but maybe (and putting my flame suit on here) show them another vacation, or perhaps wait until Fantasyland is done so you can see more new things? Overall any vacation for 8 days under $2500 is quite reasonable and I would normally say go for it, until I read you have been recently. However, WDW is awesome, and if you guys have the $$$, time, and energy, lol...you will probably not get a trip much cheaper than that esp including MNSSHP.

I don't really care what other people think, as everyone at work thinks I'm crazy to do mostly disney trips. But that is my opinion only, as most of them like to gamble, go to the casinos in OK and Louisiana often. I'd rather visit a mouse.

If you can afford the trip, it sounds like a good deal. If you can't it wouldn't be a good deal no matter what price it is. Is your husband disappointed that he wont be going? That would also sway my opinion.

If you decide to go, have a wonderful/magical adventure!!

I crunched the numbers and we can swing it. Christmas would be a bit tight this year but I have a TON of toys bought for the kids already (hit up the 75% off Target sale last year and stocked UP!). DH has no interest in ever going anywhere. He'd rather spend money on his car or the house. We have done all of the renovations we need to do in the house. He likes to "barter" for these trips so for this one he wants to get his windows tinted & some power tools... lol.

I'll be going back next fall with just DD for the Fantasyland experience.

Another good thing about booking would be that it kicks my weightloss into high gear. I always lose weight for the world then gain it back when I get home.. hehe.

I might just do it. You only live once!

Sorry for the double post but after agonizing on a decision all day long (you can tell by my siggy), I booked!!! I only booked for a mother/daughter trip. I figured do that this year and then next year (when everything is opened in Fantasyland), we can return for Christmas with both the kids :) :cool1: Now I'm super excited!!!
