8 Day Park Hoppers = How Many Fast Passes?

We are a family of five (2 adults & 3 kids, all age 7). We are staying at the Polynesian in January from the 7th to the 14th. We have 8 day park hopper tickets and I just wanted to confirm that equates to 24 fast passes for our family, 3 selections each day?

My next question is I can make the selections as of this Tuesday. January is typically low crowds. Do I need to get up at seven in the morning on Tuesday to make my reservations, and can I make the reservations online?
