8:45 Wild Africa Trek - Transportation

I have booked the Wild Africa Trek for 8:45 on a day AK opens at 9:00.
We are staying at POFQ.
What time should the first bus be there for AK?
As we have to check in at 8:30 and it will take ten minutes to walk to Kilimanjaro Safari to get to the check in booth, I'm would think I need to be on the bus and departing POFQ by 8:00 at the latest.

Am I safe being at the bus stop at 7:50 or should we call for a taxi?

Buses start running from resorts to parks around 6:30a. If it were me, I'd probably be extra cautious and arrive at the POFQ bus stop at 7:30a or so, but you may be just fine at 7:50a. I think a taxi is unnecessary.
