8:40 PPO Garden Grill question

Hello!

I saw an 8:40 am Garden Grill pop up on our Epcot day and I grabbed it. Assuming that it remains a 9 am open, we would want to eat and then try to get a jump on crowds at Soarin. Would we be let in around 8 with all the other PPO guests so that we can do this? As much as I would like to try GG breakfast, for this trip the added perk of having a head start to Soarin would be the deciding factor. Thanks!

Unfortunately, I don't think this is going to work for you. We picked up an 8:25 Garden Grill and then dropped it again for the same reason. It wasn't enough time to have breakfast and get to Soarin before the rest of the rope drop crowd. I'm thinking you'd have to have a ressie around 8 or just after to make that work.

You may get into the park at 8, but you are unlikely to be seated significantly earlier than your ADR. Some of the staggering of the early ADRs is based on server load, getting people seated, and kitchen output.

Drop it and just rope drop Soarin'.

Thank you both- I guess I'll stick to our original plan which was to rope drop Soarin... maybe keep a look out for one at 8. I appreciate the info!!!
