8/29/12 Dream, Last Minute FE

This is a last minute FE for the 8/29/12 4 nt Dream. This is separate from the main FE, although there are some people who are participating in both. This is for the kids only (although adult gifts will be allowed, since we are last-minute, they are most definitely not required). We will probably keep things fairly simple. The main goal is that our kids can feel involved. I'll list the participants and update info as I get it.

I'm putting in lines for email addresses, though this is not required if you don't feel comfortable adding them. I suggest we exchange cell numbers via emails so we can text last minute room changes before we leave port. (I might try for an upgrade! ) In this day and age, I imagine most of us can also do last minute emailing and board checking from smart phones too, before we sail, if you don't feel comfortable sharing your phone number. (My day job is not telemarketing, I promise!)

Please add a post below indicating if your kids have any special interests or needs regarding gifts (food allergies, favorite characters, etc).

My girls are Tia 13, and Maya 12. Our room is 6058

Will we also try to do gifts for the adults, or just the kids, as we are so last minute?

Tia is very shy, Maya just a bit, so I am so glad to hear about Katie and Spenser on board!
First cruise ever, the girls don't know and are going to be surprised when we arrive, they think we are going to Disney World.
Treated to the cruise by my wonderful parents, Flip and Phyl. My brother Larry and his wife Rosanne are trying to add on last minute.
So excited!

Hi-unfortunately, we are a fairly lo-tech family-don't have texting...if anyone changes cabins last minute, could you please leave a note on our door? I'll check email at 7am that day, before we leave for the drive, for any changes.

Thanks so much everyone who is participating! I really appreciate it. My kids will be thrilled.

Hadley is a 6 year old, going on drama queen. She loves princesses, candy, and the color pink.

Gwen is a 3 year old laid-back girl. She loves aquatic things (fish, Nemo, etc) and the classic characters (Mickey, Minnie). Her favorite color is orange.

Neither has any food allergies.

Hi - we were part of the original FE list as well. I believe just two families have been added

I think it's still fun if it's not homemade! It's like secret santa in the middle of the summer...you never know what you'll get

Some of mine are homemade, but some are bought. I just don't have enough time to make as many homemade things as I would like to (and the things I make take me a long time since I'm not as crafty as other members of my family.

Heck, my FE still isn't done...my mom sewed the main part back in April, and I still have to do my part LOL
