8:25am reservation at BOG beneficial?

2. You will likely encounter some sort of "stoppage/delay."
However, the Splash and BTM area is always the last MK section to become "busy" in the mornings.
You should be fine even without a BoG PPO meal.
(Also, it MIGHT be that MK will open an hour early on your day, rendering a PPO breakfast useless for an advantage on riding attractions.)

Actually it would be nice if MK opens at 8 am. We could ride Splash then go to BOG. DD wants to visit the castle restaurant again. She thinks she would appreciate it differently after watching the movie.

The restaurant will still open at 8. I believe it's 8am-9:30/10pm daily

My wife and I had PPO BOG res back in Feb. Pre-ordered before. Time of reservation does not matter as long as it's before 9ish. We arrived at 7:45 and were eating by 8:10 am. We lined up along with a few others at 8:40 and were led down fastpass line around 8:45. We got in 4 7DMT rides before rope drop crowds arrived. Great morning!

We did the exact scenario mid March. Had 8:25 reservations with a 9am open time. We lined up at the front gate by 7:20 and made it to BOG by just after 8 after several great pictures in front of the castle. Pre order meant we just paid and found a table. Had our food by 8:20 and was in line outside 7DMT by 8:40. They walked us back shortly after that. We pushed it and got three rides with the flood gates opening as we got off the last time. We hustled over to Peter Pan with about a 20 min wait then had Frontierland with little to no waits after.

Yup. This is what happened to me on my March trip. ADR for 8:50, got in with the crowd at 7:45, strolled up Main Street to take pictures, seated by 8:20, got in line for 7DMTR around 8:55ish.

Just letting you know don't show up at 8am and expect to get in the park at 8am. A line starts forming by 7:30, and you want to be near the front of that line. As long as your reservation is before 9am you should be all let in at the same time.

Actually, once they let the line in, in my experience it never backs up again. I have shown up at 8:00 and 8:10 and walked right in.

I was going to say this. We followed his advice this March (spring break crowds). My family and sister's family had 8:25 and 8:45adrs. They let the breakfast line in all at the same time, so it doesn't seem to matter what time your reservation is. We did not pre-order (we should have), got there about 8am and still rode 7dmt 2xs. When we were getting back in line the 2nd time, the flood gates had just let out and there was a huge mass of people (led by some cms) to 7dmt. We were very pleased with how it worked out.

The earliest PPO adr I've been able to grab for our trip is 8:45. So this gives me hope! thanks

So for those of you who managed to ride 7dmt before park opening, did you get Memory Maker pics for those rides?? I have read that there is no MM pics during EMM, just wondering if that holds true every day until park actually opens.

FWIW, the 7DMT ride pics definitely do work during EMM. We did two EMMs last year (most recently Nov 2016) and have a ton of ride photos and videos from both of them. I suspect if someone reported it not working it was either an isolated technical snafu that day or this is a recent change.

Thanks for verifying! I have EMM booked and would be really disappointed if Memory Maker is not working for 7DMT during EMM.
