8/18 Magic Kingdom

Does anyone know why Magic Kingdom closes at 7pm on 8/18? We are at Disney from 8/16-8/20 and 3 of those days Magic Kingdom has an early close. I know the 16th and 19th are Halloween parties by why the early close on the 18th?

When this happens it’s either closed for a private event or cast member event.

Yeah, I'm a little disappointed as this is the only day and park we are doing before our upcoming DCL Wish cruise. I guess I'll drown my tears in a fancy boat drink the next day. Lol
