8/17-8/21 Day 3 Castaway Cay

OK day 3! Again I am up at the crack of dawn, we got a wake up call at 6:30 from Mickey Mouse. TWICE! Guess what we did not order a wake up call. I am starting to think someone doen not want me to sleep! LOL I am the type of person who when jolted awake like that I can not go back to sleep. So we got up showered and dressed. Packed our day bag for the beach and went to breackfast at Beach Blanket. Very standard meal. Could have used some more choices but for me it was good DH does not eat eggs and such so he stuck to bagle and danish. After breackfast we watched us back into Castaway Cay, whitch was nice then we could see the beach from our port hole(not that we were in our room much that day) Since we were up we made it to the gangway very early and were only the 2 ones off the ship. We walked to the shop and looked around and Talked to a very nice cast member from England, Lisa. We learned a lot about working on the ship. They are all on 6 month contracts with if they are luck only 2 nights off the whole time. Not even the whole day, just the night. That is a lot of work. So we talked to her for a while, then headed to the snokle area. The water was beautiful! We were not paying any attention to anything and before we knew it had a life guard blowing her whistle on the megephone tell us we were to far out to come back by the G bouy(SP?) Sure just when we got to all the nice big beautiful fish. So we made our way back to shore. After sitting for a bit we turned our snorkle stuff in(witch would prove to be a mistake) and headed over to the adult beach. We walked about 50 yards down to find chairs with an umbrella that we never used. We pulled our beach chairs into the edge of the water to sit. It was so nice. We were relaxing when a group just down from us started finding all kinds of good things, so we went down by them. We saw what someone said was baby sowrd fish, star fish and sand dollars. Then a whole bunch stingrays beagan swimming. One sat at about 3 inches from my foot just looking at me. It was so cool!! We soon got out of the water to go get some lunch. The food was good also. We walked back to our chairs and found a couple that we sit at dinner with, we ended up pending a lot of time with them on the cruise. They had their snorkle gear with them, after all the cool things we were see with out our gear I really wished we had brought it over to the adult beach, lesson learned for next time. So we talked to them for awhile. We could see very dark clouds and hear thunder in the distance. It was about 2pm by then so we decided to head back to ship. After we were all cleaned up we went for a snack on deck and ran into the couple again. While they were snokeling, he found a large fish and was telling up about and we were kinda laughing beacause he tryewd to go by it to take a picture but it opened its mouth and threatened to bit. He was looking eye to eye with a barracuda. We found that funny, although he would not have if gotten to close.

Before dinner we made it a point to have our pictures taken with Captain Henry. Good choice because they came out very nice. Tonight we were at Parrot Cay. This resaturant was our favorite for atmoshphere. We just loved it in there. During dinner we talked with our table mates and decided to goto dueling pianos. MISTAKE! We met the other couple there at realized we were only 4 of 7 people there. Now I am not saying they were bad but the show was awful. I guess it was a matter of not enogh people for a show that requires a lot of interaction. We were not excited by it at all!!!! After that we walked past the 70's night and were back in our staeroom around 12. Maybe we can get some sleep onour day at sea? OK I cant complain about being woke up, we were almost first off the boat 2 days in a row.....TOMORROW WE SLEEP(maybe)
