So who is coming to Orlando this summer?

Count us in! Fist trip to Orlando and a whirlwind tour it will be. Will be there from June 27th-July 5th. Four days at the parks and 4 days on the Wonder. We have been to Disneyland hundreds of times so we have made a pack to skip most of the same rides. Still do know if we have enough time. Everyone is very excited. (until DW and I found out about this trip) Made the girls treasure maps for Christmas that lead to a treasure chest with tickets.

ChrizJen: I love your sig. I quoted that to my DS last night to cheer him up! He's 9 y/o going through this realization of mortality lately & it's freaking him out. He eyes got really wide & he said, "yeah what if the Hokey Pokey is what it's all about?" We both laughed. I said "yes it's all about having as much fun in this life & not worrying about the 'what ifs'"!

LOL! In our house the Hokey Pokey IS what it is all about....or at least Hokie Powerhouse football!

In my opinion, Tower of Terror and Splash Mountain are better at WDW. Don't miss those. And they still have the Swiss Family Treehouse which I like better than Tarzan. But don't waste your time with Small World and Pirates (blashemy I know). But they are so much shorter than ours, you'll feel cheated.

Not us Judy. On the bright side I will be on the Wonder in 23 days. My DD has her 8th grade school trip to Washington DC in May and I am going to Jacksonville with DH in May.

If it means not going to Orlando in summer 07 so we can go on repo well it's a no brainer for me.

Just back for my Tour de Thousand Oaks bike ride (15 miles) and waiting for the Edison to turn the power off for the afternoon. Fixing something in the neighborhood. Thanks for the WDW tips, but my kids are not brave enough to go on Tower or Splash mountian. But my 12yo DD wants to do Mission Space, go figure.

This guy (the new YMCA director) comes up to me yesterday and tells me, not asks, that he has put me down to be a scholarship chairperson on the executive committee.I just started laughing. Once I got home and had time to think about it it really quirked me because here I am a SAHM, homeschooling for the first time 3 kids and since my DH works 80 hours a week holding the entire house together and a salaried employee wants to take my time away from my family to do YMCA volunteer work. I believe in volunteering don't get me wrong but I spend 10 hours a week there with swimming and literally my plate is full.
