Well I feel silly now. Thank you so much for the inside info. Are you calling Castaway club # or is there another # to call? How early is early 4 or 5 am to call and wait?

No, that is the number I will be calling. LOL! I thought that everyone did that. If tickets for a concert go on sale at 8 am you can't get thru if you wait until 8 to call.

I have already checked into getting a 4ft X 6 Ft banner of the Pirates Through the Caribbean banner for when we are on the ship ....It will look like the banner in my siggie ...may try to get 2 of them ....then we can hang them up at the sail away party and also maybe when we go through the PC the Photographers can get a group picture os us by the railing with the banner ... I still have some tweaking to do with the banner ,,lol but we have plenty of time ...lol

No, that is the number I will be calling. LOL! I thought that everyone did that. If tickets for a concert go on sale at 8 am you can't get thru if you wait until 8 to call.

Um no experience with the concert thing either. First time booking a cruise that has some " frenzy " attached to it. In some ways I feel like a newbie with this. I didn't know DCL will put you on hold and in order BEFORE they even open up !! So if I call at 12:01 go to sleep and wake up ready to talk with DCL, I should be in good shape.

Oh Boy ...I get up early to get some work done , take the lil one to school in about an hour and half , then I am going Flying ...But I am scared to come home and find out I will have over 10 pages to catch up on ....Is there a name for the disease you guys have on this board ???

POST 1501-2000 SUMMARY:

- The dress of choice for many of the ladies onboard will be a body bag.
- Video clip of Magic going thru the PC in 2005 post #1538.
- How did you chose your DIS ID?
- Goodness this cruise is going to cost a lot!
- Andy is our very own Disney angel.
- Jeff learned what number NOT to call to contact DVC.
- Birthdates noted...will be compiled later on the group website.
- Still no price list and still no calls made from IC.
- The ladies online at 10 pm Wednesday went on a shopping spree at DD.com.
- We have all changed our minds and decided that we are not going to put up with DCL yanking our chains. This cruise is just going to be too expensive and they can send the ship back to FL empty.
- Lots of cute inexpensive pirate costumes posted.

It's just a mother & daughter cruise. DD is 13 and these teenage years are tough I tell ya.

I hear ya! Catherine turned 14 in November. She got a new cellphone for Christmas which has full "qwerty" keyboard to make text messaging easier. We got her a verizon unlimited "In Network" text messaging plan and 500 out of network messages.

We just got out first bill on the new plan and the charges were almost $200. I checked to see why it wasn't around $100 as per the agreement.

Basically she had over 1,500 in network messages, but 795 out of network, plus she used 556 of the 700 minute shared plan so that cost us additional too.

She carries that thing around like a "Woobie". (Mr. Mom reference). The world could be on fire and that wouldn't bother her, but if her cell phone didn't work...
