I guess there must be a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Good Looking Guy fix too that is needed.

Do tell...how do you get that? :lmao:

Well....Thursday nights are bad, I'm on overload from CSI (Nick) and ER (Luka)....that almost carries me through the entire weekend........:rotfl:

Okay Stacey- you're making me do this!! I'm Sharon- another one of the Escaping Moms. I live in Cave Creek, Az near Stacey. And the reason I've just been keeping an eye on this adventure- well- it's kind of like jumping rope- you need to get that 'oomph' to jump into it. It's a tad overwhelming- to say the least!! But I'm up the challenge- that is- if I'm up for reading 25 pages a day.:surfweb:

But honestly- you all sound like you're- no we're going to have the time of our lives. It will be an adventure- to be sure.

you have our prayers for a positive outcome. and our best wishes for
rain and no wind.

take care of your precious family. :goodvibes

you are one :cool2: dude, "crashman!"

dear fla. judy..is that your sheep dog? :) he reminded ours growing up,
astro was his name. { they make great family pets as they adore kids }

..i could be wrong :rolleyes1 but seeing how addicted they are,

story.

Well if you are running low there is of course the Captain or Will!!!!!!!Pop in the tape (oops I mean) DVD and your hunkometer will read full.

Captain Crash----I am so glad your family is safe. I went to bed and couldn't sleep for wondering. Here is a boatload of pixie dust for your night.

Night all!!!!!!!!

Well...

... I think the fire has sort of burned out in my end of the effected area. The Pixie-dust must be working! However, maybe the wind has shifted and now there is a huge smell of smoke as opposed to earlier this evening. So who knows...? At any rate I took a photo I shot and posted earlier and hand sketched the outline of our home against the darkness depicted so you can tell how close the fire seemed to be. I think that if the fire seperated from us by one cul-de-sac of homes - well then we were not in nearly the same danger as the neighbors over there were. Plus the point of the fire where I drove up to within 30-35 yards - those houses were really close to the fire!!!! An obvious threat with the helicopters dropping their loads effectively 10 yards or so away from their property. So I guess you could say THOSE folks were about 10-12x closer to the flames than we were!

Yes, thats "RIVER" he is a bearded collie just like they used in the Shaggy Dog in fact he is related to some of the ones they used. I have actually had him since before the movie. They look like sheepdog but smaller. He is about 45 lbs. He is awesome and he is the ultimate family pet. He loves the water and has a real comedic personality.

Sharon-----hey girl!!!!!!!I have been hearing about you from Stacey and GaRry for a long time. Welcome to pirate zone. (insert twilight zone music):cool2: :cool2: :cool2:

Todd, I highly doubt they will add the tips to this cruise too unless the prices are so outrageous that no one books. I think the Med Repos are struggling a bit so they threw out a bone...Of course one can hope!:upsidedow

So I DID read it correctly - and grats were tossed in after I looked at them.

I sure hope that they don't toss in free grats on our sailing because it is not selling well - I would rather they price it right and sell conventionally - and for that matter - cut another 15% off the prices <chuckles>:surfweb:

Yes Cartagena sounds like it could be a tad dangerous if you venture off on your own. We are definitely up for a group thing. Beaches like about like Mazatlan--kinda brown, lots of people. Did they have ziplining? My DH partner is from Columbia, been here for 30 years though. I think he has been back. I will have to pimp him on Columbia.

They don't really have a big fort like in Romancing the Stone do they? Wasn't that the one from Puerto Rico?

I would certainly be interested in sticking with a DIS organized excursion in Caragena! SO - who's gonna put it together?:confused3

We will have to research ideas. So far I haven't seen much but I have faith there must be something to do or DCL would not be stopping there.

Crash you are always up late due to the CA time. We need to construct a plan for nabbing the mile marker that shall go unnamed. We are along ways from that however these things take planning. How many people posting can we get as it approaches.

I missed all the drama. Crash I'm glad all is safe for now. I know how crazy those Santa Ana's can get.

Judy....another west coast poster here...I'm game to help with that marker. ;)

Heya.. east coaster here that works nights and lurks alot. She might be up for grabbing AHHHH pirate:ing a few of the no names!!!!!!

You guys just amaze me with all you can do on these posts. Takes all the computer skills I can dredge up just to add a smiley or two. :dance3: See- But- I do have the skills of online shopping down pat!
Honored to be part of the group- :yay:

RM, I lost the post, but Dominique will be 8 when we cruise. LOL... an old pro at it!!!! Princess dresses and all!!!!!!!!princess:

Well it seems that the List of Pirates is growing ....I think once DCL takes our reservations the actual planning can begin ...So no research until January 31 ..

Captcrash _ glad things are looking better your way ...

I have had a migrane most of the early evening and now , that why I havent been around ...trying to get some sleep so I will chat with you all in the morning ...

So that's why the RUM is all gone.....:confused3 .....trying to chase that headache away?

Nah, seriously, hope you feel better soon.

pirate: Hello Maties

You guys have been killing me with your posts. I have working since last Wednesday. By the time I get home and read all of the posts I am dragging and need to go to be since I have to get up before 5am. Will be off tomorrow and hope to follow more closely.
OK, this happened at work today. One of my friends who is also a Disney Geek, (not DIS Geek) said "Hey, I saw on the news that the Disney boat is coming back to LA. Did you know about that?" Well I was kind of :rotfl: and said "Yah, I think I heard something about that happening."

Anyway to a much serious note. Crash I feel for you!! As I was driving home tonight on the 101 I saw what I thought was fog in the distance, but alais it was another fire. Traffic almost came to a stop as I pasted by the worst of the flames behind the Pool table store and K-mart. The area that it covered was not huge, but the flames sure looked scarey. We live about 3 miles north of 101. Can still see the light in the sky out of our bedroom window. Hope that you and your family make it through the night OK. The wind does not seem to be to bad. OK, until tomorrow guys.

Hey Crash - be safe :firefight :firefight pirate: :firefight
(had to sneak a pirate in)

Man, that's a gorgeous photo! Makes you want to summer in Alaska... as long as you can winter on the Magic!;)
Ohhh, I hadn't thought of living on the Magic! I keep telling DH that
when we retire I want to live in Talkeetna, Alaska June-Jan. & Key West Feb-May. Basically, I aspire to be a small town eccentric.:teeth:
