Ohhhh...I love this game...

I'm gonna go with.....

"You can't handle the :cake:!"

"But, but the last time, I didn't get any :cake: . They told me next time I would get a piece of :cake: ."

(OK, it MAY be a little off...but it really is about :cake: !!!! :lmao:
(from Office Space)

And this one is a shout out to darthrugby...

"May the :cake: be with you."

:lmao: I haven't seen Office Space...It looks funny though.

"How come he gets :cake:? If he gets :cake:, we'll all get :cake:! It'll be anarchy!"

All of our dog grooming places are called "SPAS".
I own my own pet sitting business and alot of the times I have to take them to get groomed.
I call it "Fluffed and Buffed!.

They come home looking beautiful. We even have one company that come to the house and grooms your pet.

Oh, that's cute! "Fluffed and Buffed"....I'll have to remember that.

Poor little guy, he was all excited thinking he was going someplace fun! The "spa" is in our vet's new office, so his excitement didn't last long. And how embarrassing....they call back on the speaker "Ash is here for his spa treatment"...:o And there were a couple of dogs who were sick.....I bet they wished they were only there for a spa treatment. :sad1:

Now, if we are counting RECTANGLES and not SQUARES, then there would be 118, I think.

I'm coming up with 118 also.

Here's my calculation:

V=Vertical
H=Horizontal

12 - 2x1 V - larger squares
12 - 2x1 H - larger squares
4 - 2x1 V - smaller squares
4 - 2x1 H - smaller squares

32 total 2x1

16 - 3x1 both V and H
12 - 3x2 both V and H

28 total 3 tall

8 - 4x1 both V and H
6 - 4x2 both V and H
4 - 4x3 both V and H

18 total 4 tall

That makes 78 elongated rectangles.

Now, since all squares are rectangles (but all rectangles aren't squares) you need to add the 40 squares to the total.

That makes 118.

You guys are giving me a major inferiority complex! I'm lucky I solved the 3rd grade math question on Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader last night!! :sad2:

well....at least you and I are enjoying this....

eta...okay Joel is still playing, too....

In between heating up my Donato's and doing some work :lmao: . I am finding it humorous that there seems to be one group deciphering hidden squares and another group making up movie :cake: quotes.

party: :bday: :bday: :bday: :bday: party:

:cake: Happy Birthday Janie :cake:

Answer from a dumb one. Depends on what version you are using, but you should be able to select the message, right-click on it and then select "Junk E-Mail" --> Add Sender to Blocked Senders List.

But why do you want to block e-mail from me?

Joel...you should definitey see it. It's hysterical!

I can't go to TGIFriday's or Max & Erma's without thinking that our waitress just doesn't have enough pieces of flair on.

Donanto's...............YUMMMMM!!!

Founders favorite?

Ignoring the inner boxes, it's 1-squared + 2-squared + 3-squared + 4-squared for the main box. (You are counting the 4x4's (1) + the 3x3's (4) + the 2x2's (9) + the 1x1's (16)) so that is 30.

Then for the inner boxes, it's 1-squared + 2-squared (or 5) times two.

30 + 5 + 5 = 40.

That's my final answer.

Although there still aren't any squares.

Maybe we should count rhombuses (rhombii?)

:wizard:

Why the fluff do we have so many math discussions going on lately????

This is killing me. I much more of a creative writer.
