To all of you who lurk here and then post elsewhere:

We will all be on the same boat for 15 days. Yes it's a big boat and we can all go to separate areas. But why should that be needed? Are you really sure you want to start an us vs. them battle? Why do you find it necessary to attack those of us that choose to stay here? What do you hope to gain by name calling and mud slinging? Why does one place have to be better than another? Can we all just agree that both groups love Disney cruises and count ourselves lucky to have made it on this voyage?

I intend to enjoy myself on this cruise. And I intend to continue to get to know the fine people who I have been interacting with the last few months. If I get to know you too, great, more friends. But if you continue to send derogatory comments, then I have no use for you in my circle of friends.

It is, of course, the way "they" chose to go about it. I certainly do not appreciate the deceptiveness of the whole thing. Why not be upfront?

Oh, can't remember if you like Crocs or not...but if you do, they have charms for your faaaaaaaaavorite...can you guess?

Both of my kids love their crocs.....I'll have to look for the charm! I want to order a pair of the flip flop crocs for me!

... at this point I believe we still all get to have 40 minutes more to fantasize about how we'd all apply our winnings. Anyone care for another round of 7 Mega Lotto questions? ANd since I lost track of my last 7 question deal and thus failed to answer my own questions (unintended)... here are my queries and answers below... Easier to quote and edit:

1) What would you take - lump sum or annual payments?
I want a LUMP SUM
2) What would be the FIRST application for your 1st dollar of proceeds?
I would pay off our mortgage debt
3) Where would go on your first trip with the proceeds?
I would take my expanded family to Italy ASAP
4) Would you continue working or maintain the MAJORITY of your routine?
Hard to imagine if I were the sole winnner of 1/3 a billion... or rather 100 million in after tax lump sum (estimated)
5) What charity or non-profit would be the 1st beneficiary of your windfall?
Make a Wish of the Tricounties would get a nice check from my family
6) Would you do anything special with the proceeds in the near future?
I would establish a self perpetuating scholarship fund in our family name. A little slice of immortality for us while helping a lot of kids in perpetuity.
7) What would be the most crazy thing you might do which otherwise would be far fetched to consider now?
I would buy a flight on the next space flight into orbit with the Russians! It might cost me $20,000,000 or so - but it would be worth it! HEY, I'm a Sci-fi fan... and this would definately count as a flight of fancy!

4. Quit my job ASAP and pull DS out of school and hire tutors allowing us the freedom to travel at will
5. Alzehiemers - my grandmother and my FIL both have it

7. Buy houses on both coasts and in the mountains - probably in Celebration, FL, Colorado and Northern California

I did not get the spam myself, but someone here shared it with me.....I also feel it was very mean. I think it's also important to remember that the author of this email most likely speaks for him/herself. I would hope the entire group does not share those shame opinions....in fact they may not even have knowledge of the email.

I hope I'm correct in this assumption. I also do NOT want to feel like we are in some sort of silly competition here.

Can't we all just get along? We all want the same thing......meet new friends and have a great vacation.

3. If I couldn't charter the MAGIC then I'd go to Australia.
4. I am a SAHM now so I would continue with the majority of my routine as best as I could.
5. St. Judes and Calvary Hospital (Bronx, NY) would both get very generous donations from me. Cancer has claimed way too many people in my life, my beloved mother just 3 years ago.
6. I would take 50% of the net proceeds and invest it in a grant/scholarship type program to help out disadvantaged people (health or education)
7. Buy a house on each continent in the world and a jet to fly to them.

I just realized I didn't really answer the question of whether I'd continue working or not... and I think my spouse would quit - while I might continue to do my thing. But then again... whats' the point when you've got so much piled up all of a sudden? So - my answer would be logically No... I would close it up and walk with my family into the sunset.

I am bringing the dice. How many do you think we will need. 3 dice per table, 4 people each table? BTW I do no the plural of dice is die--I just think it sounds better dice.

Well - I think we should plan on some pick-up poker games (no gambling, just for fun) and maybe some other stuff. I'll bring a couple of decks of cards. I always found that talk was so much easier while playing a friendly game of cards.
