We're not quite that warm, but we're at 41 now, and by Saturday we are supposed to be in the 60's!!

Maybe spring is coming after all!!

Wow, born in Whitestone, later moved to Bayside, now in Howard beach, went to Holy Cross High School Flushing.

I went to St. Agnes in College Point for two years but couldn't take it anymore and transferred to Bryant High School in Astoria.

When did you graduate from Holy Cross? I have a friend who went there, graduated in 1982 or 1983.

When I was pregnant I had the most terrible dreams. The baby was in the crib & I thought that DH got him out so we could go shopping in a town about 30 minutes away. When we were almost there I checked on him to find an empty car seat. DH said that he would be fine because he can't get out of the crib. I woke up in tears. Not sure if that is the time that DH woke me up because I was hitting him.

Yes I did and I joined the fan club yesterday. I don't know what I'm going to do though - I was really hoping for MSG but they have Giants Stadium or Hartford - I'm probably closer to Hartford but could find Giants Stadium easier. DH also hasn't agreed to go - so typical of him. I get him tickets to Toby Keith and take him not once but twice, you'd think he could do this for me.

Lisa I won't be a problem....we won't be bringing any luggage.....we'll be wearing two weeks worth of clothes on our backs.......and toothbrushes will be in my purse........I will however, have a 400 lb backpack of booze and 2 blenders, so that will take up some space

Hi Folks,
Hard to keep up with you all. We're Mets Fans here, going way back to the 70's. DH was in the hospital when they won the World Series back in 86 and it was a very emotional time for us.

Also, I had Lasik a few years ago. Didn't hurt, see 20/20 in one eye and almost 20/20 in the other. It looks horrible to watch the procedure, but I remember it was over real quick (slightly uncomfortable for about 30 seconds). I'm so glad I had it done

I appreciate everyone's well wishes, thoughts and prayers. I apologize for not being able to respond to all the posts individually or multi-quote but I just don't have it in me right now. To say I'm a bit depressed would be an understatement. I don't even really want to talk about it -atleast not yet. but it appears that either something happened like a stroke or something or I have Bell's palsy or something and dealing with the non-functioning part of my face & mouth right now is well... not fun. I'm not even sure if I should post that because now if it doesn't go away I'm going to think everyone is looking at me on the cruise.
I'm only 37yrs old and was not prepared for something like this at this stage of my life. I've never been pretty- I know that. But it's like God had to say oh you think you're ugly now, you haven't seen nothing yet... it can always get worse little missy.

I know we tease a lot, but really, truly, BIP, best wishes for a speedy recovery. I know this can't be easy but we're praying for you up here. I'm sure you're plenty pretty and will remain so, so knock that kind of talk off, 'k?
