I think a bus rental from the DL area to the port would be tremendous fun. I have not volunteered to arrange it because I thought there would be someone from the area with prior knowledge, but I am happy to look into it -- Lisa, sign me up! I will arrange bus transport if enough people want it . . .

My family will fill four seats on a bus!!!!!


Lisa, you might want to change the discounted prices for HoJo's on the first page. The latest I know of is:

$71.20 for 2 queen beds with view of the highway
$75.20 for 2 queen beds with a pool view
$79.20 for 2 queen beds with a Disneyland view

Those who have other rates maybe you can let Lisa know what you have so they can all be posted on the first page.

Here goes hoping my computer, vcr's and anything electronic understand we will spring ahead earlier this year. Oh I wish I was an electronic Geek. I know we are going to spend hours on resetting everything.

This year it's a month earlier. It's a trial to see if we can save more energy.

It's going to also show how much money we can spend (like the Y2K issue) on getting the computers ready for an earlier DST switchover! I'm waiting for the story about an ATM spitting out cash into the night when this hits

Just checking in after a long couple of weeks. I read all of the 12,000 posts that I missed. (Well OK, I read the summaries of the 12,000 posts that I missed.) I hate when real life gets in the way of important things like the DIS. I'm enjoying my Spring Break... especially with the wind chill in the teens and the snow coming down!

..all day today, figures!....then late last night, i didn't

hi all,
quick question...how many have made ressies at the hojo with the group rate? and if you made the ressie, how many days are you staying? i haven't had time to read thru all the posts, and i just now noticed the group rate posted on the first page...i'm wondering what everyone's plans are? we are pretty flexible...but i'd like to go when the majority goes...that way if there is a rental bus or something...we could get in on it.
also, are you all planning on staying at DL til the day of the cruise...or staying closer to the port the nite before the cruise?
looking for your plans!!

We are staying at HoJos until the morning of the cruise. I hate moving mid-vacation. It takes too much time away from the fun stuff!

I'm all for a bus, I just can't volunteer to organize something of that size right now. I might be able to step up 6 months or so from now once I am settled into a new city, new house, new job (I hope!), etc.

I'm back, really need that nap. Probably will still be in the bed if Kevin had'nt called from the shop. Felt a little guilty not going up there with him today but I needed some peace and quiet for a few hours. The kids at school were just on my last nerve today. Nothing like having a 350 kids screaming "No gravy""No green beans" "I said I wanted gravy""No roll" "Miss Debi, Nigel cut-ed""What is that?" "Ewww,that's nasty" Aaaaaarg!! I think a I need a double Baccardi Coke.

I hear you about the HE detergent...We JUST stocked up on regular stuff...the ALL Small and Mighty stuff, because it was on sale!!
So we now have like 8 bottles of detergent that we're not going to be able to use...

Oh well. So far we're really liking the LG.
I love the little chimes...

I always stock up on detergent too. Luckily Tide hasn't been on a really good sale lately and I only had about 500oz around. Gave it to my mom and DH's brother.

I got HoJo's for Sat. the 16th. Was going to stay closer to port but I just couldn't see spending $150. at Crowne Plaza when I got a price of $67.20+tax for the night. Getting a King bed,standard view(freeway/parking lot). I'm with you on the shuttle idea.
