how about a white choc. dome

Oh baby - come to momma!

OMG we are SUCH horrible parents! :rotfl: First, DW and I didn't keep the house quiet as a tomb...actually, we played his CD player during naptimes. One of his favorite CDs? A disc that had various household noises...vacuum cleaner, washer & dryer, white noise etc! Our neighbors, however, kept the house totally silenced during their youngest DD's naps.

They also boiled the water to sterilize it for her bottles! We used either water from the fridge's filter or Nursery Water which is pretty much Dasani but with flouride added back in (regular bottled water isn't flouridated).

Oh yeah, we were really horrible...we NEVER heated his bottles!! It was just room temp...because guess what? Never having a heated bottle meant that he never got pissed at us for NOT having a heated bottle when one wasn't available like when traveling or in a store etc! :thumbsup2 We were flying to PHL once and the flight attendant offered to warm his bottle using the hot water dispenser they use for coffee. DW say "No thanks, he take it cold!" The FA was astounded that we got him trained like that and wished her DD would take a cold bottle.

Can't say about the Bag Balm for diaper rash. We used cloth diapers and the ONLY time he got diaper rash were the few times we went with the disposables. Actually it got so bad that the doc prescribed, get this, BUTT PASTE! ROFL it's an Aquafor based ointment that has to be specially mixed by the pharmacist (there's a different formula for boys vs. girls). Anyway, you can imagine TSA's displeasure with these little tubes of ointment that show up as something nefarious on the scanners...especially when the pharmacy label simply says "Butt Paste" :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl:

Don't feel bad. We didn't heat the bottles after they were a few months. I did boil up water and keep it in the fridge, And I have a tube of Butt Paste that I bought at Target. Works wonders on most irritations. Just hate the smell.

And they were the size of a small suitcase. I meant when the general public had it made available to them.

I remember the cordless phones.....it was like holding a brick up to your ear.

No Andy.....a real brick!

DS slept thru Mass every week.

Hardly a difficult achievement, though, don't you think? I have trouble staying awake in church myself. Of course, I am not Catholic, so we don't have all that 'stand, sit, kneel, sit, stand, kneel, sit' stuff to contend with.

SIL is from England & both nephews have her accent. The kids ask me why they talk like Harry Potter. :lmao:

:rotfl:
I have a co-worker married to a brit, his kids spend their summers in the UK and every christmas they go. He says they do have a slight british accent all the time, but when they get home after the summer its real bad and slowly fades.

Hello Lorri.. hello Mary Rose.. I see you didnt change your mind of flying..lol :lmao: :lmao:

Yes, my back acted up last week.. I was going to the ER and giving them my hx or just increse the meds I have and suffereing it out.. so I suffered it out..I didnt feel like giving 8 hrs to the ER just for a shot of meds.. so I laid in bed and was catered to for a few days.. Thank goodness the worse of the snow was over however... and Jaclyn was gone for Mid winter break...
So nothing pressign to learn here???

Love the pix of the family you have posted...

Oh Doreen - I'm sorry about the back:grouphug: . I have problems off and on but nothing as severe as yours.

My family is from NY/ NJ. DHs family is from GA and SC. My lovely DD would adjust her accent based on who she was visiting. If both families got together often I think her head would explode.;)

Seriously, did you expect a product called Butt Paste to smell good?

I think we should start a new game......"What we know about Darth". Everyday, Pete can share a new, fascinating little tid bit about himself.

No. Let's not start that. You really don't want to know.

express is $5 no idea what a local is maybe 2.50
I'll be annoying everyone with my $5 in quarters....didnt have time to go get a metrocard.

The last time I rode a bus it cost a buck - express and regular:sad2: .

That's how we catholics multi-task...get your spiritual and aerobic obligation out of the way at once!:rotfl2:

Can I please have another hint Lisa. I'm scanning everyone's siggie and no Theresa yet. I'm figuring she's a Geek. And I know the name, the real name, of everyone posting here right now, so she's not here now. Come on.....you know I got the name thingy going.....:rotfl:
