discussion over our middle son since he 5years prior to our
daughter's birth. my wife insisting that he was 3weeks early...
i do know we had an april blizzard on his orginal due date. she
also able o recall the other ob dr. who helped... "after" the
crises. [the one wearing cowboy boots]....he had an affair with
a nurse. she drown while vacationing with him at the bahamas.
he then moved out of state...:rolleyes1 . however, she denied
any screaming,,,,well....it was more of a sound then a scream,
but i will never forget "seeing" the look of fear from the students!
do you know dmerol is often given for causing memory loss? ;)
believe me, i would've taken one,maybe 2 shots! oh, boy..she
didn't have any problem recalling the nurse..i didn't know she
laid on "top'' of my wife, when trying to check if she was ready
to push. . my wife also said she wasn't a very good nursey
rn either. our "baby"..is now 19 y/o..you should saw his face last
night = :scared1: . now he has a much more apprication for his

mother. :flower3:

p.s...i was only kidding..if you want to baby talk go right ahead,
just make sure iam not eating..remember ,the robin egg? no
egg salad for this sailor...

you know, how do you thank your wife, when they give so much?
[ * this tied directly into the trip report i did on our 04 trip,
and the lil'surprise ... i did for my lil'miss cutie pie. i could have
 snow white..when she whispered to jordan..."you are one
lucky princess: to have a mommie that would do somthing this
special!" ...my wife was just :cloud9: , for you see , it wasn't her
mother ..but her daddy that set it up. ;) . later as walked
out of the castle, i mentioned to my wife she didn't "correct"
snow white..that's when she reached and grabbed my hand. now
if you know my wife , would explained how what that meant...

don't you just like working a lil'magic for your sweetie very own
fairytale? :bride: princess: & :groom: !

so that's where all the strange smells coming from..here i been blaming
our dog! ha! iam more determined than ever, not to put in the room
with my boys! oh, yeah...my lil'mis already up to scheming or
maybe skinning is a better choice? jordan will be 11...

Well DH just got home from the studio, so I better go pay some attention to him or I will be banned from the DIS later on charges of spousal neglect. :rotfl:

a few pages back, i mentioned a trip to nyc. it got buried quickly! but does anyone have any help/tips for a trip to nyc with kids?? it's only a one day bus trip, so not much time....but i want to maximize it the best way possible.

Sorry, that is on my list of places to go.

Oh Paula you must be getting really excited!! I would love to do a Western when it wasn't a billion degrees. We always go late August. I bet the weather will be glorious! I'm jealous.

I am hoping, we did this in Jan once and our excursions in KW and GC were cancelled due to the weather. The capt. did get us into GC, but we ended up going in on the other side? and CC was nice, but the water very cold. The seas were very rough. But we still had a wonderful time. I think they ended up scheduling lots of additional shipboard activities.

Good evenin' pirates.

I'm heading back for ketchup, but I wanted to share my excitement with you.
I sent out my first 2 resumes on Friday & I actually got a call from one of the organizations today! 50% return rate so far! I have plans to talk with/meet folks from this group this spring, so things are in the works.

I've got time, we won't be in DC until July & I don't want to start working until Aug., but it was nice to get at least one response quickly. I did some hunting today, so I need to get another 25ish cover letters written. Oy!

Gotta get a job to pay for TOAL!

Good Evening Everyone. I'm just trying to catch up.

Hi Margaret!

Shannon I want to answer you about your trip to Manhattan, but been a few years since I've been there, but DH goes to work there everyday. Since you have young kids he said Times Square is now very kid-friendly. Also there is FAO Schwartz toy store. The Museum of Natural History is great as is the Hayden Plantarium. Of course a trip to the Empire State Building is fun or maybe take in a matinee of Beauty and the Beast or The Lion King on Broadway, or of course there is Central Park (it has a zoo) But if I was coming to Manhattan I would do the one thing I never have done which is visit the Statue of Liberty. I'll see what else I can think of over the next couple of days. As far as a tour book...does Fodor's have a book for NYC, oh they must. I like the Fodor travel guides myself.

Maybe they just don't believe in planning ahead??? More of a go with the flow crowd? :confused3

One of the girls said that she must not have as much time as other people on these boards.:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: If they only knew how much sleep I have lost in the last month staying caught up here!

I did buy a cute little Easter Basket to stuff some little chicks into eggs for people that happen to pass by our door. And I used the big siggie to make a door sign-----that we are really looking forward to our cruise.

When we were planning on cruising out of NYC, our post-cruise plans included the Empire State Building, the Central Park zoo, and a visit to the American Girl Place for dinner. The Statue of Liberty is a good choice, too.

I'm presuming this is not a holiday season trip? If you do during the holidays that opens up a whole other set of plans.

Hey Lil' G.....I Love Your Posts!!!! And I really look forward to them. They are always heartwarming and yet funny! I still don't know your name, but I can't wait to meet you, the man of mystery!

I popped the top on a wine cooler...:cool1:

I did consider that but don't feel like waking up hung over...yes I guess that is how I would describe the feeling. I am having breakfast out tomorrow. :goodvibes

DS Adam really wants to go to NY for a weekend. There is sooo much to do there.
