Ok, actually we got in Feb 13, but I have been busy at work and haven't had time to post. We were a little late to the game, hadn't realized this was coming out (or that it would sell out so quickly) so we started trying Feb 1 and got a place two weeks later, thanks in large part to the efforts of Bob at Dreams Unlimited (thanks for hanging in there for us!) Cruisers will be me, dh, dd (then 12) and ds (then 10). I will never be able to read back through all the prior posts (or keep up with them at the rate they are coming!) but wanted to say we feel very fortunate to have gotten a space onboard and are looking forward to the trip of a lifetime!

My mom's husband was admitted to the hospital Monday for some prostate problems. They did surgery on him today and my mom just called to say that he is currently on a ventilator. They have called in a pulmonary specialist and she is waiting for some news. Please say a few prayers for them.

now that I had my lesson on jimmies, sprinkling at sea, creamation and all the LONG JOHNS I can eat.. no not ANDY in the long johns.. Very, very cool!!! Y'all are going to love it.

DH and managed the Chef's table the one time we went to V&A's, and as a walk-up no less. When we arrived to check in they had a sign on the desk saying the Chef's Table was available for the seating we had. What an awesome experience!

That is called fate.

We've always dealt with the same problems with our kids.....but we use having a sleepover in our room as a treat now. Ds 11 still loves to cuddle with me......shhhh don't tell anyone!

If he gets 100% on a test he gets a sleepover with me and we kick dh out of the room for the night. You would be amazed at how motivating that is for ds. He would rather have a sleepover with me as his reward than having a new game, going to a movie, etc. I know this won't last much longer.....so I'm cherishing it while I can.

DS8 1/2 will come to me when he is having a rough day and ask if he can cuddle so we sit in the recliner & talk. He has always been the snuggly one of the two of them. I know that wont last forever.

I missed AI last week, didn't want DH to have to worry about taping to many shows for me. I don't remember his name but he sang a song last night and dedicated it to his wife and has really curly hair. I also think he has personality.

I think that he has sung really well each week so far too.

I get the same thing with how people say my name when they see it:

es-TERRY = East of the Mississippi
ES-tree = West of the Mississippi

I am still hunting for something that I ordered last month for a birthday gift for the kid's friend. I put that & another bday gift for later this year seperate from everything else because I wanted to be able to get to it easily this month to ship it out. UGH! Now I can't find the bag anywhere in this house!!!
