Right foot again,
Left foot again....

Anybody???

It came on Radio Disney in the car the other day and my DD and I were singing along. She was stomping in the back seat and I almost caused an accident went I stomped my foot on the gas! :rotfl:

I have and DS is a selfmotiated learner. I think that he would excell with one of the online groups and me to suplement at home. DD on the other hand, just wouldn't work with me teaching her. We just clash too much & I am not able to help her. I didn't teach DS. My only contribution was the brain cells I gave him since I was also an early reader and independant worker. If we are pushed to it, I will do my best. I have a BA so would qualify but doubt my ability to give my kids the best education myself.

Scary thing is that all homeschool moms doubt their ability to educate their kids. . . that's what keeps us motivated. You'd laugh at me attempting to pronounce fungi terms in DS12's biology text . . LOL He and I are always debating who is saying it correctly. Tomorrow we're pulling out the CD with the examples to settle it . . .LOL. I skipped biology in high school and didn't take any in college . . so that means the last time I had biology was 8th grade! Believe me. . . it's a challenge to teach a high school class, but we're learning together, having fun (growing mold is FUN!) and well, maybe he'll remember some biology . . LOL

Cool thing about being a mom is we learn we can do anything . .. for our kids! You'll figure out what will work best for your family :)

Thanks Shelley - kids cute, me ready for the dirt, but thanks. How is your DH feeling? I read a couple of hundred pages back that he couldn't get the DR. today. Hopefully tomorrow then and hopefully he's feeling better!!
Oh please.. you are not "ready for the dirt" as you say... whatever that means. You're cute too!
Well he's still in pain. and it's doubtful he'll get in tomorrow. I might get an appt made tomorrow but I highly doubt he'll be able to get in that quickly. :(
Thanks for the well wishes

Here's my baby

Harley 883 Custom Sportster

I had never heard of Qlink so I looked it up. Interesting looking bikes. I kinda like them.

Oooh, hubby would like, if he saw the picture. LOL The only pictures we could have is HIM on HIS Harley... I'm not particularly fond of riding them myself. I worry too much of the damage my poor body would take if I fell off! I'm a worrier like that. LOL

Thank you....but you'd have a really hard time convincing her that she's pretty...she's another one of those who doesn't think so...honestly.

He's at that awkward stage, poor kid.

Awww, that's so sad. Because she really REALLY really is very very beautiful! I don't understand kids sometimes. But you know, your mind works different when you're that young. I can remember when I was young and thought I was fat- I'd give my right arm to be 'that fat' again. HA! I was not in the least bit fat...

Our group from the Blabbermouth thread decided a long time ago that DIS kids are the best looking, best behaved kids in the world.....and I see it holds true for this group, too. But then, we ARE a little biased, aren't we??

Well, I can't say that mine are the best behaved. They do behave very well at the dinner table at any restaurant (or even at home for that matter- although they do talk a lot more with food in their mouth at home! ugh) but that counts for something... right?
*and yes, we're a bit biased*

I don't know if you want him to learn what they have to teach.....he would never be the same.....

Ah, you forget I dated the captain of our college rugby team for two summers! Trust me . . . I do know what they would teach him . . .LOL. . . He can't sing very well, so he'll fit right in .. ..

Please indulge me one last time.......before my kids find out I'm posting this..........tomorrow this will be irrelevant because it's his 14th Birthday Picture:

I LOVE that hat.....I need one like it for the cruise....we'll be celebrating DS's 13 a little early (Sept 6)

Okay CaptainCrash... if I can't have both, I'd definitely choose lobster over steak!

Ok, just who is doing all of this posting and thwarting my efforts to catch up and why??? It's late, gosh darn it, go to bed!!;)
