Stacey ---I think your kids are gorgeous and as I remember meeting your son in the elevator many times he was so polite too.

A toy chest? Because evidently it's a silly question to seek a toy chest at Toys R Us!! :headache:

Serious?? Maybe they quit making them, for the safety of our children....you know, too many kids getting trapped in them? It's amazing to me that we all got to be as old as we are without the government telling us how unsafe things were.

Well, I'm getting sleepy here....I think I'll now retire to my not freshly painted bedroom. Later all....

Night Deanna!

I gotta hit the hay also.........till tomorrow friends.............

Goodnight all!

Just had to do that lime green.....the Captain isn't around......:rolleyes1

Lisa --

Have you seriously considered homeschooling? It's no suprise that our area is one of the largest homeschooling areas in the country. Lots to do, lots of support, and you'll be able to make sure your kids get the education they deserve . . .

I have and DS is a selfmotiated learner. I think that he would excell with one of the online groups and me to suplement at home. DD on the other hand, just wouldn't work with me teaching her. We just clash too much & I am not able to help her. I didn't teach DS. My only contribution was the brain cells I gave him since I was also an early reader and independant worker. If we are pushed to it, I will do my best. I have a BA so would qualify but doubt my ability to give my kids the best education myself.

Good night MR! I hate this time difference. Just when I finally get a chance to sit down for a few moments of peace and quiet in the evening, it's super late on the East Coast and you all have to leave.

You know, he IS a really good kid. They all are...that's one thing that I will definitely take credit for, we raised them well. So far, anyway. I'm really pretty proud of them.

Where have Andrew and Pete been?

They have not been back since Lisa put us in time out for discussions regarding the clothing impaired Rugby players and their utencils....

Oh I missed all that! I skimmed for a while to look for it, but alas no success.

go Caroline, go Caroline.....

I hope someone is bring her little cups of water to splash in her face.....

Before I slip away...

Here is my latest installment of ...

SEVEN PIRATE QUESTIONS

1) The last movie you saw ... WHICH U liked?
2) Your last "real date".... where did ya go?
3) Motorcycle or soap box racer?
4) Lobster or a nice big Steak?
5) given a choice... would you and your usual party go for voyage in a Roy Suite, or 3 voyages in a veranda.... or 7 voyages in a window suite?
6) What was (or will be) for dinner tonight?
7) TOday ... did you wear Sneakers, Pumps, FLip flops, or what?

<chuckles>

1. Cars . . .okay I'm a sucker for a good kids movie even it is about nascar

2. DH & I went to Johnny Carao's (sp) last Saturday. Our church military fellowship (we're former military) was sponsoring a parents night out. DS10 got to go and hang out with his friends, DS12 got a go at staying home at night for the first time, and DH & I got to spend a lovely evening together. It's one of my new year's resolutions . .. at least one date a month!

3. Definitely motorcycle . . .goes much faster!!

4. Steak (can we go to Ruth Crisp Steakhouse??)

5. Oh, 7 cruises . . more trips to Castaway Cay!

6. For dinner tonight we had fresh spring salad, Chicken Marinara over Pasta, Samoa Ice Cream topped with whipped cream and a cookie slice. . . hey DH just got a 99.8 on his test at work (yep he sets the curve!) . . he deserves it . . .

7. Started out in Sneakers, changed to flats for my board meeting, and returned to sneakers . . . the amazing life of a WAHM . . .:3dglasses

Went to TJ Maxx and we found our rolling duffel bags!! :woohoo:
Spied those AT3 bags and what do you know? They are indeed the 32" rolling duffels that I was going to buy online for $140. Albeit the ones we bought are the 2005 model but hey, they were only $70 EACH!!!!  Alas they only had two in stock but then we remembered...we have over a year to get the other one!

So now, if my advanced planning holds, we'll only need the 3 duffels, two carry-ons (for embarkation) and the DadGear bag and we'll have FULL use of the closet space! The duffels stand up on end BUT that end part folds down so they will be nearly flat and can slide under the bed! :cool2:

Well in addition to Target tomorrow since I didn't make it tonight, guess I'll be visiting TJ Maxx too. I'm considering duffles for my Med cruise but haven't wanted to put up the money. I've got plenty of luggage already.

Man --since when did Lorri take over the posting 2nd place.....go girl......I am struggling to stay above Crash......I think I can take Andy especially if we can get him to post as Randy.......

Our group from the Blabbermouth thread decided a long time ago that DIS kids are the best looking, best behaved kids in the world.....and I see it holds true for this group, too. But then, we ARE a little biased, aren't we??

Where have Andrew and Pete been?

They have not been back since Lisa put us in time out for discussions regarding the clothing impaired Rugby players and their utencils....

I wish my DH would take up their offer and learn rugby. He could really learn a few things . .:lmao:

I'm heading out for now, too. I may be back...depends on if I read myself to sleep or not.

These are my two younger kids. They won't be on the cruise with us, but thought I'd share anyway. This was taken on the May '06 Double Scoop cruise.
Jared is almost 13 in this picture and Jordan had just turned 16.
