8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC Part 7

So I went to the grocery store and bought all sorts of good food to make dinner....and DS tells me we have to eat at the new McDonald's tonight. Apparently, it's McTeacher Night, and he gets extra credit for going there and having his teachers wait on him. Part of the proceeds go to the school, I guess.

We must be the last small town in America to finally get a McDonald's.

There is a great angel food pineapple cake:

Dunken Heinz angel food mix with
1 can crushed pineapple

bake as directed

350 for 35 min i think

the great thing is it's very low in fat and calories
and it has 2 ingredients

I like Cake~~~

Thanks for the compliments... its' very gracious considering the Wenches have pretty much run AMOK for the first 2 dozen "000" postings. I almost get the impression the Wenches got a little bored with winning EVERY TIME. <muted snickers> Just the saem though, thaks again for all the compliments....​

Today I joined the Crocs Club!!!

I bought the Pearl/orange flip flops (you know Shelley...what we use to call Thongs ) Since I'm going to WDW in about a month I though I give 'em a whirl. I am always on the lookout for comfortable sandals. I let you know afterwards......Although I will say, they're not very "cute". My beautiful feet appreciate "cute", my old, dragging body demands comfort!

Good morning...I got up today and promptly fell to the ground! Sharp, shooting pain from my big toe. Swollen to about 3x its normal size!

You can never, ever have enought sandals. Whether they flip flops or thongs or whatever you want to call them. The more the better.

Oh yeah, I like frosting too. lots and lots of frosting.

Frosting:

1 cup confectioners sugar
3 tablespoons water

bring to boil

Beat 2 egg whites

add the above syrup in thin stream to beating egg whites

add 1 tsp vanilla

makes 2 cups frosting


mmmmmmmmmmmmm!

I like Cake~~~

It's true what they say about not going to the store when you're hungry. I bought a little mini red devil cake......knowing full well that no one else in the house likes it. ANd then I wonder why I've gained so much weight...

Anynone watch Wife Swap last night? One mom was from California and the other was from a farm in Iowa...the CA family are very style concious because DH is a stylist consultant. The IA family were ultra Earth crunchy types...raw food diet (including raw meat

) Anyway, the IA mom was going to have to wear some stylish clothing so into the shower to shave her legs....OMG they were harrier than mine!

Yes, many of us were watching it while DISing last night. I missed the first 20 minutes or so. That one woman cleaned up good.

When our kids were in Elementary School we had McPrincipal Night. Same premise, and the kids really enjoyed it. I think the faculty did too.
