At Disneylnd Paris, one day we arrived early and queued up at the rope drop for adventureland before its 9am opening, just a short walk away from Big Thunder mountain our favorite ride.

We spoke to the French CM for a while everyone else was queueing up for Tommorrowland space mountain mission two.

Before the drop we were asked accross and we were asked our favorite ride Haunted manor or BTM we choose BTM.

A CM cam across from BTM took us to it via the back entrance, the rope came down but we were told not to worry.

We were made kingsand queens of BTM for the day, my kids and myself.

First seats on the first train, and first seats on any train any time all day through the back entrance, faster than fastpass, and a free photo off the mountain at the end.

We rode 11 times that day Didnt want to take TOO MUCH ADVANTAGE!

That is my favorite as well. The kids have the interactive Stitch which is a hoot I didn't know that about the angel on his back. Will have to look next time.
Just heard that they are sending Anna Nicole back to the Bahamas. My DH is addicted to this.

No,no....I was just referring to the fact that Catholics do not eat meat from warm blooded animals on Ash Wednesday or Fridays during Lent.....So, it's odd that he would be in Hooters sporting his ashes if he is there eating a meat entree. We can have seafood on days of abstinence.

Well, my wife had a salad. (She didn't do it for religious reasons -- just her diet).

I don't think beer comes from warm-blooded animals, so he would be ok. They also have crab legs. Is that seafood?

My DD got it for them a few years ago. I think it was around 39.00 and you speak certain phrases to him and he answers. If you ask him to sing , he sings aloha, you ask him about his badness level, and he says I'm having a good day, he tells jokes,. He is a hoot. I keep meaning to bring him into work. I saw it on the internet a while back as I have never seen it at the World of Disney. I will def buy it the next time I see it.

yes - did you realize it was directed by Joss Whedon from "Buffy". This show cracks me up - especially Jim's pranks!!!

Rainn Wilson is on SNL this week - and is in a movie coming out called "The Last Mimsy" - a kids movie but my DD says it looks too scary....

I forgot to share my Tarjay finds yesterday!!! I was so excited about them too!!! I went in to get that new Listerine rinse for the kids that leaves color where they didn't brush well enough. As long as I was there...I looked to see if there was anything left from the 90% markdown on Vday stuff Monday. They just put the 90% up that morning!!!! There was still a lot left.

I had stopped in girl's clothes first & found a demin jacket with the heart tags...1.49. In the back I found gift bags .19, polor bear stuffed animals .69, nice red mugs .59, a kelly doll cupid .49, sweetheart boxes for the kid's classes next year .19 for 8 boxes, dark chocolate expresso bars for DH .20 (can't believe anyone actually paid $2 for them...must have used the coupon online before this!), denim skirt .99, 2 peasant tops for DD .89. Non Vday stuff...the bedding is marked down for the new reset. I only saw one set of the jersey sheets...had the knomes on them...DS laughs at them in the AR commercials at the end for travelocity. They were only 50% > 14.98 now but lots of twin sheets to wait for DD's room. I went thru the rest of the store looking for other hidden deals...IOW things that someone stashed so that they could get them at the 90% mark down. I found 2 more red mugs, 2 packs of heart shaped paper plates .22, and a 200 picture photo album that matches some of the others that I always get for our cruise pictures 1.29!!!! Oh, I also found a ton of the Ponds facial wipes 60 of them marked down to 1.68!

I didn't go today...no need.

QUESTION TO EXPERTS ON DISNEYLAND CL!!!!!!!!!

I saw discussion a few days back, in 2005 I sayed at the Grand Californian I enjoyed that a lot, went to Disneyland hotel once, and looked ok, i am thinking of that for 2008.

I see it has three towers, any problems, how do they allocate where you stay, is the walk long from the furthest one? I did walk also to Paridise pier, nice hotel but I have discounted that one as it was accross the road.

When we have stayed at the DLH, they already had a room designated for you and you had no choice in which tower. Personally the Paradise Pier is closer to walk from than any of the three towers at DLH, especially the furthest one. PP you just cross the street at the light and go through the Grand's lobby. May be 5 mins closer than DLH. Just my own observation.

I wish I were so quick witted. Oldest DD once stuck her tongue out at me. I told her not to do that, and she said "I wasn't sticking my tongue out...I WAS TASTING THE AIR"!!

Personally the Paradise Pier is closer to walk from than any of the three towers at DLH, especially the furthest one. PP you just cross the street at the light and go through the Grand's lobby. May be 5 mins closer than DLH. Just my own observation.

Interesting I did a PP breakfast last time with Lilo and Stich so I know the walk you discribe, I knew one DLH tower was close but the others I was unsure, PP is cheaper.

re: Cruise family of the week - they also pick one at embarkation - they get to board first and are announced to everyone in the terminal when boarding begins......

did I mention they messed up the smilies????

although I like this guy should have thought to use him on Fat Tuesday!!!!
