Martin left Roush Racing at the end of last season to join a new team. He is helping groom rookie Regan Smith for Nextel Cup racing. He is only running a part-time schedule this year.

Unfortunately, he is now driving a Chevy.

That didn't seem to bother him too much today. :thumbsup2

Have to leave for a bit.......... DD's Church youth group is done.......... Have to go pick her up. Be around all those Stinky Teens !!!! LOL

I feel left out.......MR I haven't gotten one........:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Oh yeah....guess you know my name....:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

That's right Judy......I knew your name since Day One....while I was lurking and not posting as to not jinx myself.......As I was reading, and reading, and reading some more, until my eyes were bleeding.......Besides you did start the thread after all!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

That sounds like a great plan Lisa. Epcot is our favorite park. I know your kids are younger, but there are still things there they can enjoy. Certainly not the same as MK for the younger set, but some things. Soarin' is worth the trip alone. and the boat ride in Norway (name escaping me) and the boat ride in Mexico. All good for kids. Well actually if they can ride POTC they can ride the Norway ride. If POTC scares them, then Norway will too. But the boat ride in Mexico is for everyone. And Spaceship Earth is for everyone too.

Spaceship Earth is one of my favorite rides. Gotta love that long relaxing ride in the air conditioning on a hot July day. It also is great for taking quick naps because chances are it will break down at some point. I always hope it will break down when we are going backwards on the "return trip" so that I am laying back during my nap.

Wanted to add that my kids LOVED Epcot last summer, and they were younger than Lisa's kids will be when they travel in December.

Highlights were Soarin', Test Track, Mission:Space, Turtle Talk and the Living Seas pavillion, lunch at LeCellier, Innoventions, Character Connection, and IllumiNations. We were in that park from rope drop in the morning 'til right after IllumiNations and weren't bored or tired for a minute.

Here is a great thread explaining every single possible use that you could have on the ship. :lmao:

Practically, luggage might tear & you can tape it up to get back home. If the doors are sliding in the closet you could tape them closed.

Lisa.....that is not at all why the duct tape is on the list.......
think duct tape-----lifting sagging body parts so as to fit into our wenches outfits and hang out the top.......

Laura this is hysterical and extremely accurate. Sometimes I just wish they would let me stay on, especially during the dog days of August!

Jamie had to walk down the aisle all alone.

Yes ...and I was all set to do this but Jamie never asked or seemed to into the Idea ...I know all the DIS GEEKS were wanting it , but never heard a word from Jamie , thats the main reason why I didnt ...I didnt want to impose ....

So, yours would be one of those stateroom accounts that lands with a thud outside of the door on Disembarkation morning?

If it makes you feel any better, we had the opposite happen. When we didn't have stateroom credits, we were more frugal. When we had stateroom credits we felt like we could spend becuase we had the "free" credits from rebooking onboard. That statement was a little bit of a shock to the system because I really thought we hadn't spent that much over the credits we had (OBC & pre-purchased).

This cruise, I'm already starting to buy stateroom credits. DH got one for Valentine's Day, and he'll get more for Easter, Anniversary, Birthday, Chirstmas, etc. I figure with pictures, Palo and other expenses our statement may resemble the NYC phone book. :scared1:

You know, I like that idea. I think that I will do that too. DH wont be expecting it.

Well we are probably married about the same amount of time since we both have stinkys teen right? 1984 for us. Howsabout you guys?
a bit behind you all. Mark and I wed in 1988. That is correct dear, right? I am horrible with dates and names. Probably why, I still think I am 29.

Have to do Turtle Talk with Crush. Make sure they sit down front. It is so awesome.

I think after your onboard charges reach something like $400 or $500 they will put a charge on the card you have on file with them. That's after your onboard credits have been used up first.

Heck that is usually my shutters bill alone.....

How old are your kid's Enna? Mine are DD 17 and DS 14 (as of tomorrow). But I was a child bride you know :rotfl:

I can't believe my youngest is 14. Time truly flies.............which is why, even though I'm cheap by nature.......I always slurge on vacations. We've had some kick-butt vacations over our kids lifetimes that I wouldn't trade for ANYTHING!! Especially now that DD is about to go off to college. Our annual vacation is the best investment in our family that we could have ever made. But this vacation, this is truly our Trip Of A Lifetime since I don't know how many more after that one DD will join us on. :sad1:

My son is the main reason I wanted to do this trip. He graduates from high school June 2009.:sad1: 2008 will most likely be our last huge vacation.
