When I just read that Enna's name maybe similar to JR's I would have popped right over to the website and see if Enna maybe listed her real name. Alas, I can't do that. Besides which I know Enna's in the Witness Protection Program and would never make a amateur mistake like that

Why do I have this thing with knowing people's names? Why do I feel bad referring to someone by their DIS name? Why? Why? Why?

I've read that it is possible to use WDW tickets for DL, but not vice-versa. Has that been confirmed with Disney?

Aren't DL tickets less expensive, and also allow unlimited hopping between the 2 California parks?

I suppose anyone who is doing a pre-stay at DL and a post-stay at WDW should look into the longer WDW tickets just to see if that is a better value somehow.

I believe that our 10 day tickets that we bought in 2005 on sale online were under $30 per day with all the extras includeing water parks. We wont be buying the extras this time since we still have all 5 of them for the 4 of us. I think that ends up costing less than a one day ticket at DL...and it is already paid for.

Ok...don't flame me, but I have never stayed at a WDW hotel . I also have never been to DL. Anyway, I understand you are right on the property and can get early admission to parks, but are there any other incentives to staying at a WDW or DL hotel? I have a Starwoods card and can get free nights at the Sheratons that are nearby, but just curious if there's a motivation that would cause me to forgo a free stay at a Sheraton and pay for a DL hotel?

Can tell ya all about bennies of staying onsite at WDW. If similar at DL, dont have to drive or park vehicle, have access to early or late hotel guest only Magic Hours, location, location,location for small children needing time outs, or for adults that need time outs also LOL. Plus you get the Disney attention to detail, and Mickey gets more money, which helps out my Disney Stock Price !!!!

Sorry Lisa! I hate it when someone besides my normal stylist has to do my hair - after 8 years she knows exactly how to cut my hair and what lengths I'm comfortably with. A few years ago she had a cancer scare and was out for several months going through treatment, one of the other stylists in the salon did my hair (back then before the gray I used to just get highlights) - so I go in with my long hair with beautiful soft dark blonde hightlights - I come out with shoulder length light blonde hair! I went home and dyed it dark blonde and didn't go back until Sue returned.

Sending some pixie dust that with the use of headbands, styling product and such it is good until it grows back.

Well, it may not be as bad as I thought. This morning after sleeping on it I ran the brush thru it & it fell more forward like it use to on its own. It is still too short but unlike the mushroom cut before our wedding, this one seems to have been cut well....it just isn't for me. I should feel better in a month or so since the shorter layers will be longer & weigh a bit more so wont be as poofy as they are now. I don't like the "big hair" look.

It sounds like the DL neighbor hotels give you package options for early entry as well.

OK...good morning everyone first of all. Although the good natured joking around here is fine, there seems to be a lot more posts containing sexual innuendo lately. I know that most of these references are the result of typos that were difficult to resist commenting on and noone has set out to make explicit comments however this has led to threads being closed in the past. We do have to remember that the DIS boards are considered to be a family board. I know that both of my kids will sit with me looking at the pictures but now DS & DD can read and they will ask questions about what something means. Many have posted that their kids also look at the boards with them. I know that this is one thing that I like about the DIS boards. Just ask yourself if you would want to explain something read here to your child...no matter what age they are.

SOOO.... I am in the kitchen washing the floor this morning. I hate washing the floor, but really, I just hate my floor. It is one of those floors that when we purchased it 12 years ago the salesman said it was the GREATEST, easy clean floor that doesn't scratch, stays shiney, yada yada. Well, guess what He LIED!!!

So, I'm washing the floor, all the while complaining about how I hate this floor. My DD15 come in and does the I Dream of Jeannie blink. Guess what?
Its amazing..... the floor didn't change. So she tried it again..... This time the floor stayed the same..... So I told her she must not have enough power. Which lead me to thinking I should contact ENNA because we all know SHE HAS THE POWER!!!!! So Enna what about it? Think you can fix my floor with your powers.

I'm a guy and hate having my hair cut. That's the reason my hair currently looks like Snape's from the Harry Potter movies.

Granted it's only $12.95 for me but I just hate having it done.

I wish it only cost $12.95 for a haircut for me - last Friday it was $70 for cut and all-over color and yesterday it was another $30 for a few highlights and a blow-out! Add it tips and I spent $120 on my hair - yikes!

That's good because I don't know who Angie and Dennis are. But I was thinking about how strange it must seem to you all that we are both talking to each other via DIS when we live in the same house and are only one room apart. Me have the laptop, I could even been sitting in the office and still typing to him via DIS. Good thing the kids don't DIS because then we would have all 4 of us on our puters talking back and forth about nothing. But at least we could provide you all with a little entertainment.

This is probably a really stupid question, but do others find it more difficult to work on a lap top. It seems that I have to do a couple more steps to post. Either I don't have the hang of it.......but I really like my computer much better.

Ummm....I was referring to an outlet and one of those big orange extension cords.

As for your floor, tell your hubby that the average kitchen floor needs to be replaced every 10 years. You are 2 years overdue for a new floor.
