I totally agree Paula! It seems we all have quite alot in common. That's unusual for such a large group but it's AWESOME! I really think that this is why our thread is so big already. We all love DCL, we love pirates, love our partners and kids, love our pets, we love old shows and old songs, we love groundhogs, we LOVE good jokes, we love rugby and hookers, we love Evil Twins, we love Capt Dining and HAHA Dining, we love alcoholic and/or virgin cocktails, and we LOVE food....boy do we love food! It seems that we are all quickly becoming real friends!

Aawww! This is why I love the DIS. I don't know why but "disney folks" just are so often nice, good people who help you reallize that the world isn't as horrible and nasty as the evening news would like us to think!

This is probably a really stupid question, but do others find it more difficult to work on a lap top. It seems that I have to do a couple more steps to post. Either I don't have the hang of it.......but I really like my computer much better.

Well...instead of paying for 4 adult fares & 1 child at 3rd person rates...you would be paying for 2 adults, 1 adult 4th person rate, & 2 kids at 3rd & 4th person rates.

Um, I'm confused and not sure if that's better or not. Because that would be instead of 2 adult fares in cat 6 & 2 adult in cat 11 plus 1 child at 3rd person in cat 11... it would be 2 adults, 2 kids at 3rd and 4th position in cat 6, with 1 adult 4th person rate at whatever cat she has... so who knows if it would even be cheaper?

I'm also not sure if I scared the you know what out of goofyforlife because she disappeared after my last post about it. LOL

But just in the general "for my info" type situation... would it really be cheaper?
And I wouldn't have to worry about the room being close because we'd be in one room.
And another question, DCL will let you put your child in another room that isn't your reservation? Oh wait, ofcourse they will.. people bring their kids friends, other relatives, etc.

Well I did, but ofcourse it can be cancelled up to 48hrs to date of arrival. So it's not like it's set in stone or anything like that.

Woefully behind still.........B***** does not come on mommy's TV.....that was my standard mantra......DS didn't figure it out until he was about 9 or 10.......along the same lines.....the "music" truck sure drove around our neighborhood a lot....he didn't know it had ice cream until we were having our house painted and the painters stopped the truck for an ice cream..

The first 2 people in each room are charged the adult fare. If you move DH to your room and DD to GFL's room, you will save money.

What did you reserve for DL? I made a few calls last week and was told that places weren't booking that far out yet.

Our TV didn't get that show either.

We live too far out in the boonies to have the "music" truck, though.

Don't forget that when a resrvation is changed by adding a person or moving a person from one room to another, DCL considers it a new reservation and may charge the current price for the changed or new person and not the T1 pricing.

I thought I was one of the only people to do things like that. My DH thinks I am just a little nuts sometimes. But I am usually working at least 24 months out on vacation plans. I think I have that planning disorder. But it leats us have wonderful vacations that are all paid for. It started when we became DVC members. We never really took vacations until then.

Yes, even if they are charged the current fare. The kids were 810 + 353.24 each for our cat 8. That is before the 10% OBD.
