WOW - Great Gift - You will love it. I took DD to see if a few years ago in NYC and it was AMAZING. Cant wait til a touring version comes to Tampa next year so we can go see it again.

I told DH not to spend money on flowers this year. Guess what showed up at 10am at work?

Turned out to be a good thing as an hour later my mom called to tell me my aunt, her sister, had died of a heart attack this morning. My GM has now lost four of her kids, the last one just four months ago.

DH has been throwing up since 4pm due to a stress attack from studying for the Bar Exam (2nd time).

Sorry. Didn't mean to be a party pooper. It's been a rough day.

Was hoping my 500th post would be a bit cheerier. Again, sorry.

Tomorrow I take my spouse to the airport - she will be gone from Tomorrow til wednesday next week. There are urgent health issues with a family member - so she is going to help out - lend a hand and eyes and ears for the rest of the family. I get to hold down the fort til next week... no school for the kids on friday and monday means I'll get wacked over the weekend.

So - you may not have me to kick around much... I'll come back to lurk after 1AM tonight when the DIS finishes updating... I'll be working my way backwards to try and reach my last posting. It's my way....

Good News! Just got the results of the blood work....seems to be normal. So hopefully this will be taken care of with the meds....He goes back on Saturday.

well, I think for me it was the fact that they couldn't do so using their own name - and instead did so anonymously making it seem it was coming from someone else - not to mention using Lisa's hard work of putting all the info together and using that list...wrong way to go about it IMHO.

Thank you for putting it together so nicely.

I also want to add that the fact they used someone's name from this group without their permission within the body of the email as an incentive was just wrong. If you want me to go check something out, to identify yourself in a such a way that I will know who you are (such as using your DIS name in the body of the email).

Well I saw the story about the recall on Peter Pan Peanut butter and guess what? I have the jar in my pantry.Code 2111 and all. Mine is the reduced fat brand. So since I have been snacking on it for a few weeks now, I'm assuming (we all know about that word assume) I would've had some heath issues by now.They say this may be the cause of many Salmonella cases up north.

Sorry, but I don't think that I would have boarded a ship that had a gapping hole in the side. How on earth did they think that they were going to be able to get the ship out that day??? At least they fed the people & let them sleep there that night. Sounds like a good deal was made for travel too.

That's why I always have to hunt down a place to buy it before we go to the port. Last time on the Mexican Riviera, we could still carry it on the plane.
I know that there's a COSTCO near the port....am hoping to get it there.

BUT....we also bought extras in Mazatlan....so if all else fails, we'll get it there.

OH, I only WISH we were going to NY to see it!
But there's no way we could swing a trip to NY on top of the TRIP OF A LIFETIME!!

The show is touring, and is coming to the Fox Theater here in St. Louis. (It's a gorgeous venue, so if it can't be on Broadway then I'm happy to see it here. )
